Instead of graduating like we planned the past four years of our lives,
We were alone.
We were handed our diploma and sent on our way with none of our friends by our sides.
We were thrown into a scary new world,
A world no one understood.
We cried alongside our friends,
As the senior year we dreamed of slowly and horribly went wrong.
We tried our best to appreciate everything we did get,
But realizing the things we missed made everything worse.
The world is still in a scary place,
And we are still missing all the things we planned on doing,
But the days are getting easier.
Every day we get more hope,
That things will be normal again soon.

PoetryThis is a collection of poems that I have made through the past few years. Most of them are sad, and are personal. I would love any feedback you'd like to give. I'm trying to stick to writing, but I might not always update. I hope you enjoy my poems!
