Wanda joined the others once her meditation was over and Nightwing's little training exercise was done. They wore their super suits, planning on training more with Halo, Geo-Force, and Forager. She still wore the power dampeners, her telepathy being the only one active. True, she had been practicing with Fate and Zatanna but it was still too risky to practice with the others. So, she continued to keep them at bay. "Halo, Forager, you both get A grades for reflexive action, evaluation, and adaptability." The two gave themselves a small cheer while he looked to Brion. "Geo-force, you get an F in all categories."

Dr. Jace and Brion gave him a glare. "I came here for training, not cheap shots." His shoulders steamed, resembling how annoyed he was becoming.

"Alright," SB came to stand between them, looking at the prince. "Let's dial it down a few degrees-"

"No, it's okay. Let him say his piece," Dick encouraged.

"Well, thank you for the indulgence."

He sighed. "Do you have a point to make or not? Otherwise, let's get back to training-"

"Training is all you care about, isn't it? You promised me Tara. We know that she is on Santa Prisca. So, what are we waiting for-"

"We don't know if she's there. And we don't want a repeat of the Infinity Island debacle, do we? Brion, you need to be patient." This made him grumble, mumbling under his breath.

"Fine. Then perhaps you would like to explain the point of that last exercise." Brion leaned in, crossing him arms before undoing them. "A surprise attack proves nothing."

Nightwing shrugged. "In your case, it proves that you need to be ready for more surprise attacks." As soon as he said that, they were knocked off their feet by someone, or something, landing behind them, making a huge impact. As the dust cleared, they stood to face the alien, Bovo.

Jeff's lightning sparked in his hands, Halo and Brion standing in front of Jace, the girl turning yellow. Nightwing pulled out his batons, Artemis doing the same with her bow and arrow. Scarlet activated her telekinesis, wanting to keep the powers she uses at a minimum. Bovo pressed a button on his belt before speaking. "The Main Man's contract is to kill this bug. The rest of you can go."

"Not gonna happen," SB stated.

"Fine." He punched his hand together with his fist, letting out a deep laugh. With that he attacked, going in to punch Forager who was moved out of the way by SB.

Nightwing hit his knee before flipping over him, Tigress firing an explosive arrow at Bovo. He caught it but it still went off, him stumbling back only to stop when Jefferson hit him with Lightning. Superboy came in, punching him repeatedly until he grabbed his hand, using him to hit Artemis and Dick before slamming the Kryptonian into the ground. Bovo then picked him up by the head, holding him still to punch him. "Maneuver 16!" The Super-Cycle flew down, blasting at the alien. As he was distracted, SB went in for a punch which sent him into a pile of rocks. Bovo whistled for his vehicle, it taking on the cycle.

"Halo, fly Forager out of here!" Dick ordered.

"Of course!" Violet grabbed the bug under his arms, turning orange before flying away. While she did that, Scarlet used her telekinesis to lift a boulder, throwing it at the alien.

Bovo recovered quickly, taking out what appeared to be some type of hook, aiming it at the flying girl. "There's no running from the Main Man." He ejected it at her, it going right through her abdomen. Halo let out a scream as she dropped her friend, the alien pulling the chain to the ground. At that, Wanda knew she could do more, finally taking off her dampeners. "I hate cleaning this thing." She put her hands together, two symbols appearing on the ground at both sides of the alien. The brunette then rose her hands out in front of her, pulling out two chains which wrapped around his arms before yanking him down.

Tigress knocked another arrow, Scarlet having an idea. "Ylpitlum esoht sworra!" (multiply those arrows) Three more arrows came out of the original one, hitting the alien in the chest. "Who hired you?" The brunette asked while the dust cleared. "Was it Mantis? M'ale F'auk."

He groaned. "The main man doesn't kill and tell."

"Clear!" Bovo looked to Jefferson who had his lightning in his hands, ready to release it. Wanda was on the other side, firing a beam of magic as Lightning did the same with his powers. The alien yelled, taking both hits. Her beam grew, turning a deep scarlet. The two stopped to see if they were doing any damage.

"I can buy a new vest and regenerate new skin." Bovo ripped his torn vest off, waiting for his arm to heal but it didn't. "Huh?" He looked at it before glaring at Wanda. "You're gonna pay for that, with your head."

"Geo-Force, the ground!" Brion put his hands to the ground at Nightwing's order.

It turned into magma, Bovo sinking right into it. "Cut it out, you stubby earther. The Main Man is gonna frag all your..." He couldn't finish as his head was completely submerged. Tigress, SB, and Lightning went to where Bovo was, watching as the magma cooled. Everything was still until it erupted like a volcano, Bovo emerging from it which sent the three back. He turned, launching his hook at Wanda but ended up hitting smoke as she reappeared at the side, grabbing the line. She sent a shock through it, him yelling as it hit him. The alien pulled on the line which pulled her towards him. He grabbed her neck before tossing her to the side into Nightwing, focusing his attack on Forager who had multiplied. "How many of these hazy bugs are there?!" Bovo punched at one, then another before realizing they were fake. "These bastages are fakes." He looked to Halo who was green. "You're behind this. Looks like the Main Man is gonna have to frag you all over again."

"Get away from her!" Helga stood in front of her only for Violet to push her away.

"Dr. Jace, get back!" Her aura switched to red, her putting a force field around them while Tigress shot arrows at him. As the blonde passed Geo-force, he shot a ball of lava at him. Halo then went yellow, a beam hitting his chest.

Wanda was about to go in when Forager stopped her. "Wait." He whispered the idea to her and she agreed.

The bug then rolled out to hit Bovo's head. He turned, grabbing him before slamming him to the ground. "Ha! Gotcha!" The alien punched his shell, breaking it.

"Forager!" Violet yelled.

"No!" In his anger, Brion shot another ball of lava at him. Both Nightwing and Tigress jumped up only for the alien to hit them off. Bovo raised his hands to end him completely when SB tackled him. He grabbed his head, using his own to hit him as Lightning took a shot at him. Jeff was spun around, thrown at Violet and Jace.

Bovo jumped, smashing the bug. He tried to whistle for his vehicle when he remembered that he didn't have a pinky, groaning. "Just get over here!" The alien got on but said one more thing. "Don't feel too bad. You bastages did better than most."

They all surrounded the body, feeling as if they failed their fallen friend. "Is Bovo gone?" Brion gasped, turning to look at Forager who had stepped out from where he was hiding with Wanda.

"You're alive!" The prince stated.

Halo was next to state the obvious. "You're pink!"

"Forager shed his exoshell to fool Bovo. But Forager thinks Forager now understands what friends meant by not liking to be naked."

Violet tried to go in for a hug but stopped herself. "Sorry, i can't. You're too...googy."

"I don't care how googy you are." Geforce then hugged his friend, pulling away to find slime on him. "But you are indeed googy." He used his powers to evaporate the stuff on him.

Artemis walked up to him. "Uh, welcome to the fake your own death club. It's membership is very exclusive and i'm the president." She put her hand out which he gladly shook.

"Forager thanks Artemis Crock. Forager thanks all his friends for risking limb and life to save Forager. The humans here are all truly drones in Forager's hive."

"Feelings mutual, kid," Conner assured.

"We always take care of our own," Nightwing informed.
