"Okay, Garfield. You called this meeting," Miss Martian said as the members of the Team stood around him.

"And i appreciate you hearing me out," he said before looking at Aquaman. "Kaldur, though the Justice League's rakes are divided, you stand center stage, defending a world seemingly committed to stopping your good works. And, M'gann, you lead our Team against your adversaries while avoiding the spotlight. By both obstacles, your both making a difference. But something is missing."

Wanda looked around. "Okay, i'll bite. What?"

"A public version of the Team. Young heroes rebelling against the system to fight the good fight in clear view."

"No, we do not put those kinds of targets on our underage heroes. That is what the Justice League is for."

"The League can't do what we need because you're playing on the Light's game board. Have you seen the headlines lately?" A screen popped up above them with the latest headlines. 'Luther Restricts League Action Pending U.N. Review.' "Lex Luthor's grip on the United Nations. The public fear of meta-humans. Meta teen trafficking. Bad guys like Granny Goodness and Barren Bedlam are capitalizing on all of it. We've lost the hearts and minds of the people we're trying to protect. Demigods and fear mongers have caused folks to give up on the heroic ideal, the reason the Justice League was formed in the first place."

"Great, now i'm thoroughly depressed," Artemis said.

"Don't worry, i've gotcha covered. See, we're gonna break the rules the League can't. We're gonna connect with people in ways that can't be blocked by governments. We're going to quiet the fears of the public, terrified by the meta gene generation and we'll do it all by inspiring that generation because we are them. Raised alongside them in the fallout of a scary meta human world. We can be the heroes that empower them to conquer their fears."

M'gann was the first to speak up. "That's a great speech, Gar. Sincerely. But how's that any different from what the League's trying to do now?"

"The League and the Light are fighting spin campaigns and the Light's winning. That's not what i'm talking about. Look at this." He turned to a screen which showed them a post of Blue Beetle, Kid Flash, and Beast Boy. "Without even trying these actions have generated something organic, something beyond spin, something that could never emerge under the thumb of Luthor or Granny. It's something relatable, it's something we can build on by giving people something they can brand, something they can own on social media, something that makes them part of the story. We're going to be highly mobile and accessible. And together we're gonna start a revolution! A-A small one anyway."

"You have given us much to consider," Kaldur'ahm told him.

"No, we haven't." Blue, Static, Wonder Girl, Geo-Force, and Kid came to stand beside him. "Get on board or get out of the way.

SB rolled his eyes before KF spoke. "We've all heard the story."

"You guys built this Team," Blue continued.

"It's time to take it to the next level," Cas finished.

"Are you sure you're ready for this kind of spotlight," Artemis questioned.

"Green skin, can't hide," Gar pointed out.

"The Reach outed me two years ago," Blue stated.

"Kid Flash is out too from back in Wally's day. Public doesn't always get that i'm a different guy. Plus, i never really rocked the whole secret id thing anyway." Bart then looked to Jaime "You?"
