"How's that for a date?" Dick asked as he hovered slightly above Wanda. "Better than the first i hope." He fell back onto his pillow as she used her arm to prop herself up. With her other hand she put it on the other side next to his head.
"I don't know. Maybe you'd just have to show me again."
This made him chuckle, his hand resting on the back of her neck. "Gladly." He closed the gap, kissing her lovingly. Today would mark the anniversary of their first date. It was weird to think that only seven years ago that day, the two were patrolling the streets of Gotham which then took a turn to going up against the Joker and Harlequin. That definitely was a day to remember, him wanting this to be one too. That was until his phone rang, making them both pull away. "You cannot be serious right now." The brunette reached over to get it, him putting his hands over his eyes. "Please don't be an emergency meeting, please don't be an emergency meeting."
"It's an emergency meeting." This made him groan. "I'm kidding. But they are hitting all the meta trafficking spots tonight. Oracle got us the gig in Greater Bialya where Brion's sister may be."
"Ugh, i hate being the grown up."
A smirk spread on her face. "Oh, really?" Her hand rested on his bare chest after she put his phone down. His eyes opened, meeting her gaze.
"Well, it definitely has its perks."
"Like what?"
"Like this!" As he said that, he flipped them over, tickling her sides.
Wanda laughed, trying to push him away with no avail. "S-Stop! Get off!" After what felt like forever he finally stopped, his hands resting on her waist. "I hate you." He kissed her neck softly.
"Happy Anniversary, Wanda."
She put her hand on his cheek when he went back up to her. "Happy Anniversary, Dick." They shared one more kiss before he moved off of her. The brunette was about to get up when he stopped her.
"Wait just a second." He sat on the side of the bed, sheet covering his lower half. Dick scrambled through his drawer before pulling out a small velvet box. Wanda stared at it when he shifted to face her with her holding the sheet up to her chest.
"Oh, Dick. But i thought we agreed-"
"I know and we did. So for the sake of keeping that agreement, happy very early or very late Hanukkah." This made her laugh, him opening the box to reveal a wired ring with a red spinel crystal at the center.
"You really are full of surprises, Boy Wonder."
He slipped it on her right ring finger. "What can i say, it's a gift." Once it was on she put her arms around his neck, pulling him back into the bed. "What about-"
"We still have time. Besides, don't you wanna know what i got you?" His eyes widened slightly before smirking. This was definitely going to be a night to remember.

"Halloween's canceled," Dick stated as he walked up to the kids on the porch with Artemis, Conner, and Wanda behind him. In his hand was his uniform zipped up in a bag. "Sorry, guys but we're going to Greater Bialya and we're going now. We have a solid lead on Tara Markov."
Brion burned the face paint of the skull on his face away. "I'm ready."
Violet put her hand on his shoulder. "So am i. Although i would prefer to change into my Halo clothes first."
