(They celebrate the birth of Prince Henry. The Gloucesters welcome a new addition at long last. Enter Thomas More
I know, in TSP, the joust takes place after Ferdinand's arrival, but let's just wing it)

SPRING 1511
The 26 year old Richard went to the joust, in honour of Prince Henry Tudor, first born to King Henry and Queen Catherine of Aragon, with Ralph, Robyn and Drew as Freja entered confinement in Bedford. He had prayed his child this time, be it boy or girl, to live long until his final days.
He met eyes with Thomas More and tipped his hat to the scholar, acknowledging him. He wasn't too fond of More, but he had to relent since More was close to Henry.
(A/N: Thomas More will be the reason there's friction between Maggie and Richard soon. Why? Google his literary work, but Thomas More will also be an ally to Richard during the King's Great Matter)
He watched as his nephew Henry Pole grabbed Maggie's handkerchief and threw it at a man that Richard recognised as the king's groomer of stool, William Compton. Maggie, on the other hand, looked slightly uncomfortable.
Maggie had three children with her today. 12 year old Arthur and 10 year old Geoffrey were down with cold and hence, they stayed behind at Bedford.
Compton, who was smiling at Maggie, suddenly dropped his smile upon seeing the Duke of Gloucester standing behind her. He awkwardly bowed and went to prepare for the joust. Maggie turned and greeted Richard with a hug.
"If you marry him, I will disown you", Richard said, seriously.
"Oh God, please. I do not wish to seek a marriage at my age. Even less to a man like him".
Richard greeted his nephews and niece with a hug, although Reggie was a bit reluctant to be pulled away from his book. Richard pulled out a book that he knew would endear Reggie to him.
"Would you like to borrow this, Reggie?", Richard pulled out a book that resembled his father's Book of Hour.
Reggie dropped his current read and took the book from his uncle, the one he has been wanting ever since the Poles lived in Bedford. Maggie saw the book and was about to take it back, but Richard shook his head while picking up the book Reggie dropped.
"But that's...".
"I know, Maggie. It's alright, it's a copy. I had it made specifically for Reggie".
"You're spoiling him".
"Your children are mine too", Richard chuckled.
Richard pulled out two bags- one red and one brown. He handed the red to Ursula and the brown to Henry. Ursula pulled out a beautiful scarf and Henry got a brand new cap.
"Children, what do we say?", Maggie smiled.
"Thanks, uncle!", Henry tried on his new cap.
"It's beautiful, thank you, Uncle Richard", Ursula wrapped the scarf around her and twirled.
"Thanks", Reggie murmured, walking past everyone to sit and read.
"I've got Geoffrey and Arthur's gifts en route to Bedford".
"How is Freja? I plan on going to see her after the celebration".
"I pray that the baby will be born healthy. I'm worried for her".
