Richard sat down with his family regarding Freja's new status. Meg leaves for Scotland. Henry welcomes a son..., but not with Catherine)

Richard sat down with Freja after putting the children to bed. Sarah walked in, with Drew and Robyn behind her, while she carried her new son.

"Is this him?", Richard smiled.

"William Smyth, though he's very adamant of making sure his parents don't get enough sleep", Sarah smiled.

"No sleep", William shook his head.

Richard picked the boy up and kissed his hair. "I do wish your father is here to see him", he told the siblings.

"That would put him back into the grave again", Drew laughed, causing Sarah to smack his arm.

"Say goodnight, William", said Sarah.

"No goodnight", William crossed his arms, but went to his mother nonetheless.

After putting William to bed, the Gloucester household, including Meg, gathered in the study. Christian was summoned back home by his brother the king.

Richard handed Freja the proclamations. Freja was most shocked when she heard the news.

"Why would he do that?", Meg asked.

Richard shrugged. "He has the financial resources to overthrow the king and crowned himself king".

"Wolsey will be whispering in the king's ear, casting more doubts on Richard to the king", said Drew.

"He already is. Henry was not happy about it. Sweden seems to grow even more powerful", said Richard.

"What's gonna happen to us now?", asked Robyn.

Freja read the proclamation even more. "Oh dear...", she gulped.

"Did I miss something?", Richard asked.

Freja laid out her legitimacy proclamation and pointed out to the last paragraph. "He has been married to my cousin, Gunnhild. They have two sons now, Björn and Ivar. Björn has already been betrothed, so he wishes to betroth Ivar to our daughter".

Richard sighed and rubbed his temples. "I'm fine with that...", he said.

"But?", Meg pressed on.

"No doubt Henry will not be pleased", said Richard.

"Henry will never be pleased with anything", Meg groaned.

"Especially now since it seems we're upstaging his daughter", said Freja, rolling up the proclamations.

"It's a dangerous move for you, Your Highness", said Hilda.

"He's trying to make a point", Freja turned to Richard.

Richard nudged his head to Meg. Meg frowned at her brother and sister in law.
