Ch 22 Ozpin's Office

Arriving to the office you took the seat across from Ozpin.

Ozpin: Thank you for arriving. Now I'm sure you are wondering why you're here?

Y/N: Yes, but this meeting has given me an opportunity to ask for a huntsman license.

Ozpin: A huntsman license?

Y/N: Yes.

Ozpin: You do realize you have to pass four years of the academy before you get it?

Y/N: I am fully well aware, but the thing is the license will allow me to procure certain materials.

Ozpin sighs before standing up and walks to the kettle, pouring himself a mug of coffee.

Y/N: Take your time.

The headmaster walks up to the window and stared at the scenery outside while talking an occasional sip. A few minutes later he returns to his desk.

Ozpin: Now where we?

Y/N: The license.

Ozpin: Right. Right. Well I will say I am well aware how without it you procured the items  through how you would say alternative means that would be looked down upon. Now, if you were to get said huntsman license will it limit such questionable activities?

Y/N: It would greatly help.

Ozpin: Done but you still have to go through the four years of Beacon.

Y/N: I know. Also as for the picture we can use my dads.

Ozpin: Ahh Torque. You do have an uncanny resemblance to him. Speaking of which this is the reason why you're here. He's classified as a missing agent.

Y/N: Missing...

Ozpin: Sorry to intrude but may I ask what happened to him?

Y/N: I don't want to talk about that day.

Ozpin: Hmmm...

Y/N: The only thing I will say my dad died by his own hand as there was no option left. He would die standing up then live kneeling.

Ozpin: And?

Y/N: Let us just say he blew himself up with those who did that to him.

Ozpin: Sorry for your loss.

Y/N: It hurts but he did trained me to keep on going in times like these. Though you cannot exactly train that. That is why I have my team. Besides we often joked on the way in which we would go out. He was right how he would. Dad got the last laugh.

Ozpin: You know why I put you in Team RWBY specifically?

Y/N: No.

Ozpin: Once he saw Ruby took action in that recording he specifically requested this. Said how she took action and most kids these days would not have done anything. Ruby saw how and she went in. Did not question if she were even prepared but went in. Of course Glynda had to help but this is what Beacon is for. Of course your father did not exactly word it this way. He even talked of how petty bureaucracy can be with the councils. Unfortunately he is correct on this. We should of been proactive instead of reactive. Now, would you have his smartwatch on you?

Y/N: Why? What are you going to do with it?

Ozpin: Don't worry. I'm not going to keep the watch but as you know this would make it a lot easier. Has Mr. L/N has taught you the custom regarding agents who failed to report?
