Ch 26 A Long Awaited Meet

After some training you all made your ways back to the team room.

Qrow: Kid, how did you know that move? That is my signature move.

Y/N: Signature? How is balancing yourself on a scythe your signature move?

Qrow: Trust me it has its uses besides style. You can do a lot of moves with a scythe that you aren't able to do with other weapons.

Ruby: As for the first part I may have taught Y/N. He even brought some fans to help my cloak blow with the wind.

Y/N: There's no wind inside buildings.

Ruby: Well you get what I mean.

Qrow: You still have a lot to learn.

Y/N: I've only been doing this training for a semester.

Qrow: Well then kid count your blessings because out there you don't get to get ready first before the going's get tough.

Y/N: Do you forget who you are talking to? I may not be as trained especially as my skills are spilt but I still have experience.

Qrow: Oh yeah. Kinda used to the fact that everyone at your age here would be normal. Wanting to be a huntsman and all.

Y/N: This wasn't exactly what I expected my life to be even if it's a welcome one.

Qrow: Well I guess what I first said goes to you for you too Ruby.

Ruby: I fought criminals in the streets... And maybe failed to captured Roman twice. Then there was that intruder.

Qrow: Exactly. Though as long as you're able to keep on going no matter what life throws at you I'm sure you'll be fine.

Ruby: Well we're here.

Qrow: Go on ahead Pipsqueak. I need to ask the kid here a question.

Ruby: Oh, okay.

Ruby enters the room leaving you and Qrow at the door.

Qrow: Sooooo... You aren't what I imagined at first.

Y/N: The whole sixteen part which is now seventeen?

Qrow: Yeah. Well that's one. You're taller for someone your age. That and here I thought of the two sisters Yang would be the first to have a boyfriend.

Y/N: Eh, people do tell me that I look old for my age. As for the other note. Well, there are times I wake up and I'm surprised too at how I'm with Frubes.

Qrow: I am not gonna pry into it as to each their own. If Yang gives the thumbs up I am sure you are good in my book. Though I just never imagined. You get what I am saying?

Y/N: My dad got with my mom as his friend, Onyx, pushed him to. Then that same person almost kidnapped what is now his wife just to fake save her to ask her out on a date so yes.

Qrow: W-What? That actually explains quite
a bit but that's besides the point. Just look out for Ruby. You got that? I know she can handle herself but still.

Y/N: Believe me I know as well but I will.

Qrow: Just saying. Listen. Now, between you and me forces are moving their pieces. It'll be the new generation that'll have to answer this call if you catch my drift.

Y/N: Yeah, I mean I may not know what's at play but I know somethings happening. You know with Ozpin and all.

Qrow: You have no idea.
