It was the following day after the whole food fight incident. Part of Ruby's list was to beat you as somehow any game you two play had you always winning.

Weiss: What are you doing?

Y/N: Checkers. Huckleberry doesn't know how to play chess.

Ruby: And? Who plays chess these days?

Weiss: I do. In fact Y/N and I at times play against one another.

Y/N: Have you decided on your next move by the way?

Weiss: No...

Looking over your shoulder Weiss sees how your match is going and was surprise to see Ruby winning even if she was thinking really hard despite the obvious move.

Weiss: How many rounds has this been going on?

Y/N: Enough to draw Rubes.

Ruby: Aren't they good?

Y/N: (gives Weiss papers) Here's one of her contemplating her life choices. Then there's one of her searching checker strategies.

Weiss: What's that weapon in the corner?

Y/N: Oh. Yeah that is a double barrel assault rifle.

Weiss: That is the dumbest thing I've seen.

Y/N: Instead of one magazine it has two with two triggers. It's not a double-action trigger.

Weiss: Why?

Y/N: I am going to take and send a picture of
it to Onyx. He hates looking at these types of designs as they are impractical. Like the time I sent him a belt-fed 12 gauge shotgun.

Weiss: Who is Onyx?

Y/N: My guardian. He works in weapons and has his own shop called "Got Lead?"

Weiss: I have been there a few times. So why is it named that?

Y/N: He could not think of a name. When I sent him a picture of a .44 Magnum that has the person insert the magazine in he actually made one. Really showed me. Have fun with that cursed image inside your head.

Weiss: I hate you for that.

Y/N: One more thing. I may have forgotten but remember the doctor from yesterday I talked of?

Weiss: Yes?

Y/N: I forgot to mention by license he lost his dental license.

Weiss: What?! Wait, so you are saying that you were taught by someone who technically should not be practicing medicine.

Y/N: Well that's why he lost the license. He almost got it but ended up getting kicked out of his residency.

Weiss: What did he do?

Y/N: Punched the senior residency. They guy knew people and Ranger lost his license. This caused him to go to Atlas to basically become a military doctor.

Weiss: Is there a difference?

Y/N: Yes. For one thing when he was in the frontlines he fixed someone with a broken finger first so they can go immediately back into the frontlines. You know because in this the immediate concern is to get people back into the action.

Weiss: I'm not sure how I should feel about this.

Y/N: Well what do you expect from that kind of structure? If anything he did everything to get the person better. Though even if some of the things he did would get him in jail in the civilian world. Basically the scope of practice would be the difference.

Weiss: (rubs nose) Now I can see how you got taught given the questionable nature.
