Ch 13 Best Day Ever Pt1

Inside the Beacon Academy's cafeteria, Team RWBY are sitting together. Blake was looking over some kind of notes notes. Though as this was happening you were sleeping, head down on the cafeteria table with Ruby scribbling on "her" binder. Yang slid to her partner.

Yang: Whatcha doing?

Blake: Nothing. (closes her book) Just going over notes from last semester.

Yang: Lame. Hey Y/N. Y/N. (sighs) Ruby.

Ruby: (shakes your shoulder) Y/N.

Waking up you quickly looked around before fixing your glasses.

Y/N: What?

Yang: Where's Team JNPR?

Y/N: Jaune mentioned they are still putting away their clothing. They will come over in a bit so yeah.

Weiss: So what have you been doing during the break? Ruby and Yang arrived earlier.

Y/N: Oh. The last week I left their house and stayed with Onyx and Scarlet in the last week. Other than that I had to visit a former mentor who taught me my medical skills.

Weiss: Is his teaching methods how you say-

Y/N: Yes, questionable. Too bad he lost his medical license.

Weiss: Wait a minute. Did you just say that he lost his medical license?

Y/N: Ranger practiced medicine without his license.

Ruby: Wait, I thought you just said he had a license. What gives?

Y/N: It's complicated. If anything I'm guilty as that as well.

Blake: Anything else?

Y/N: No. Other than that it was hanging out with Ruby and Yang. That and our project of ours. You know with the grenade launcher.

Weiss: You still aren't finished with that?

Y/N: I would of been done long ago but this
is a joint project with Ruby. Remember how Riding Hood here is a weapons expert. Not a technology one.

Ruby: Then we practiced with with Crescent Rose, played games, and random things.

Yang: Ruby always loss. It's sad really.

Ruby: One of these days I'll beat Y/N.

Y/N: So how was all of yours?

Weiss: I don't want to talk about it.

Blake: Mine was nothing special.

Y/N: I'm going to get something. Y'all want anything?

Weiss: No thank you.

Yang: Berries.

Ruby: Milk.

Blake: No.

Getting a sandwich and the other things you walk back to your cafeteria table only to spot Team JNPR finally arriving.

Y/N: Here is your berries and here is your milk.

Ruby: Thank you.

Yang: Thanks.

Silently enjoying your sandwich you watched on as Nora started tossing the berries at Yang using a plastic spoon.

Ruby, giving an enormous heave, slams her binder onto the table, catching everyone off guard. On the cover of the binder is written "Vytal Festival Activities, Property of Weiss Schnee". The ladder title was hastily crossed out with a red marker, and a new title, "Best Day Ever Activities" written underneath.
