Donatello, I Can't

Chapter 8

  I walked over to Lilly's this morning. The lady let me in because she knew about me and I went straight up to the large section of the building. I knocked on the door, no answer. I knocked again, when I recieved silence, I backed up. I kicked the door and rushed in. When I found Lilly in her bed, she was almost as white as paper.

  I shook her awake lightly. She coughed. " Lilly, are you okay, you look sick?" She sat up.

  She tried to get up, but almost fell. I caught her and noticed her wings. " Lilly! Your wings are going from purple to black!"

  She grabbed my plastron edge and brought me close, " Do you absolutely trust me?" I nodded. " Bring me to my open window. Let me go."

  I brought her to the window. When I let go, she fell backwards. I reached for her, but was too late. I was worried because she hadn't flewn. Suddenly, her skin was bright white, wings and hair black. Her eyes were glowing green. Even brighter than Raph's. She opened her mouth slightly to reveal all of her teeth to be sharp as needles. She had four large canines.

  I gasped as she opened her wings and flew straight to her window. She hissed menacingly at me( like on avatar with the Navi) I backed away as she let go of the windowsil. She left gashes from her sharp nails. Her skin seemed slightly scaly. She flew away faster than I had ever seen her fly and was gone.

  I didn't know what to do. I called Zexion, no answer. I called Raph, she left him with the kids to go on her special fishing trip. This time, she took Ruth though. I was worried so I hung up and just went to the comic book store.

  I waited all day for her to call, she didn't. I worked alone today. I figured that for the best, go home and check on her tomorrow because I DID trust her.
