Donatello, I Can't

Chapter 5

    Two days ago, I told Emma to stay away. So far so good. I love having Donny at the store. He has already protected me from an attempted robbery and another random bully. Suddenly, James came in. He was always hitting on me. Donny was in the back, which worried me.

 James looked to me and smirked. My heart was racing as he crept closer. " Word is on the street dollface, your cheetin on me with a mutant turtle. Ya know. Ima mutant bear now. I was hunting when I was mutated."

  I tried to walk away, but he caught my arm, " I am not cheeting on you. There is no me and you and there never will be."

  He got an evil look. " Fine if you want it that way, I'll take what I want." He covered my mouth and went out the door from the back of the store and into the back alley. I kept trying to scream. Hoping someone would stop the horrible things he was doing, but it was no use. I didn't give up, but started to cry. He used part of his bear to hold me down.

~ Donatello's POV~

  I came out of the back to find that Lilly was nowhere to be found. I looked in her office, nothing, the back of the store, nothing. I thought, maybe she got locked out again in the alley.

  I went into the alley and didn't see her. I started to close the door until I heard a faint crying. I propped the door open with a trash can and I went to investigate. I went and found the source horrifying. Lilly was balled up in a corner. Her underwear was on the ground and she had her dress ripped at the top. She held the cloth to cover her breasts and pulled down the bottom to cover herself. I rushed over to her.

  I let tears stream down my face, realizing what happened. I picked her up and put her in her office. There, I pulled out her spare dress and showed it to her, " Sweety, can you change. Put your clothes in the bag right here."

  She nodded and I went out to the alley with a plastic bag. I was careful not to directly touch them and put Lilly's bra and underwear in the bag. I zipped it up and went back inside. I knocked before comming in. Lilly was crying in a corner. I looked in the bag, seeing the dress, I put the bag in there as well.

 I walked over to Lilly and put my hands on her shoulder, " I am taking you to the hospital Lilly."

 She looked up and shook her head, " Yes I am." She scooted away, " Fine, at least let me look you over. Purely for medical reasons."

  She looke to me and slowly pulled off her dress. I examined all of the scratches snd bruises. I treated a few serious ones and she put her dress back on. I smiled when she seemed to loosen up.

  I then knew the question had to be asked, " Who did this to you?"

  She shook a little. I wrapped my arm over her shoulders and hugged her. Only then did she talk. " This guy James who always says I'm his. I haven't seen him in a while. I told im I was not and never will be his girl. He said he was going to take what he wanted and drug me to the back alley. He used part of his mutant ber power to subdue me. I...I Huh!"

  She shuttered and started to cry again, " I'm so sorry I wasn't there."

 That's where she stopped me, " Nobody could have predicted it."

  I started to get mad at myself, " I still should have done something damnit!"

  She raised her voice too. " Donny stop! Please! I love you too much to let you blame yourse...."

  I looked to her and stuttered, " Y..You just said you loved me. The first time."

  She covered her mouth, " I know." She whispred. She started to cry.

  I pulled her head up by her chin, " I love you too." I gently kissed her lips. She smiled weakly at me. I pulled her close. We sat there for a while until I heard her soft snores.
