Donatello, I Can't

Chapter 27

 I had actually gotten everyone to come. We were on our way to the lake about eight miles out of the kingdom. Saphira took a lot of convincing. Due to having  a six year old, three five year olds, two four year olds, and a one year old. I have a feeling about her as to why she really didn't want to go today.

I shook of the feeling so we could have fun today. The kids play, all seven of Saphira's, three of Zexion's one year olds, and Anore's five year old. Saphira had her tubes tied two months after having Ayame.  We pulled up and seen my siblings first. I got out of the Party wagon and greeted them.

Darrel made fun of me, " Nice ride sis." He draped his arm over my shoulders. Reminding me that he as 6.3' a full seven inches taller than Donnie. I was only 5.2'

Saphira saw me and him. She narrowed her eyes and walked up in her human form, being 5.1' Darrel laughed at her, that was until she went into her wolfie form. She then stood at 9.1' His face dropped and I laughed at him.

He walked away mumbling, " Stupid mutants."

I growled, " Watch it Darrel! This is your family to!"

My mother stepped in, " Can you two not fight for one day. You two have this dominance thing. You may be the Guardian Lillian, but Darrel is still your OLDER brother. Try and have fun. Don't test me Lillian Elizabeth Taylor Cathline Rose Hamato, Darrel Dean Fae." She spoke in her imperial voice. That means shit would go down if we didn't listen, she also used or full names.

 I realized something, " Leo! Raph! Same goes for you two. Also, Saphira and Zexion." The four of them glare at me. I laughed so hard, I snorted.

I held my nose and mouth . Donnie had already started laughing. He meant it as he liked it, but Darrel laughed because he was being an ass. Donnie saw me looking at Darrel and glared. " Hey Darrel, shut your mouth please."

Don grabbed me and led me to the chairs he had set up. Darrel went to play with the kids after huffing. I smiled and sat down where Donnie put me. Once he sat down on the other side of me, I got up, grabbed his hand and brought him to the chair I was in. I then sat in his lap, receiving a weird look from my family. This was normal for Donnie's side of the family though.

I snuggled into his neck and he wrapped his arms around me. My mother kept staring at Saphira and Zexion. I knew she could tell lies and see peoples real names near their heart. I got a worried look and grabbed my moms hand, " Britani doesn't like her name because it reminds her of life before the turtles. When her parents died and she was bullied."

My mom stopped me, " I know and I know that she is a mermaid. They are very good friends to keep. Hard to gain their trust. Don't lose her Lillian. But that Saphira girl is different. I would watch her Lilly."

I gave her a look, " Mother! She is my sister!"

She gave me a sad look. " She isn't who she says she is."

Donnie spoke up, " What could you mean Mom?"

By now, Saphira was listening in. I could tell because her ear was pinned in our direction. My mom whispered, " I just don't trust her."

Saphira walked up politely, " I am sorry Mrs. Fae, but it would mean a great deal to me if you would refrain from disrespecting me. We do live by respect and honor as you may already know. I myself mean none."

My mom smiled, " Perhaps I was wrong Saphira. I am deeply sorry." Saphira nodded and went back to her kids and the rest of the family. I smiled at them.

I laid back adn watched as Zexion jumped out of the water adn over the others heads, splashing them all with her tail when she landed. I looked over at Rowan, Rina's husband. He was standing tall and proud, not messing around. I whistled for Rina to come over and whispered something in her ear. I handed her the keys to the car.

She smirked and opened the trunk, pulling out a giant tub of water ballons. She dragged it near the water. Before anyone else realized, she picked one up and threw it at Rowan's face. He was utterly shocked by his wife's actions. He had a look of playful betrayal. Faster than my eyes could folllow, he ran to her. 

He picked her up and went to the ledge about twenty feet above the lake. His voice was deep, smooth, and fluid, " If that's the game you want to play." He took off his gown, revealing a muscular body and black swimming trunks. She squeeled and he jumped in with her in his arms.

We all laughed and had an amazing time. Sadly, we all had our responsibilities and had to say our goodbyes. I cried when I hugged Rina. " Please don't ever leave me again"

She hugged tighter, " I would never dream of it." I wiped my eyes and we all loaded up and waved as we drove/flew in opposite directions.

I sighed and leaned on Donnie, who was driving. He chuckled, " Did my flower get tired from sitting in my lap?" I made him laugh harder when I nodded with an mmhm. He stroked my hair and set myhead in his lap, " Go to sleep Lilly."

It was too late, I already was. I had a content smile, happy that my family was perfect and whole again.
