RING RING RING RING RING

I quickly open my eyes once I heard that. My arms and head on the desk, sweats all over my body.

*???* Hey, Are you coming? *

I tilt my head to the right and see Louis standing and looking right at me, seemingly to wait for my answer.

*Thaddeus* Wha-what? *

*Louis* Are you going to the Halloween party or not? *

*Thaddeus* Wai-wait. I thought we were in one? *

*Norta* Pfft, haha. Don't tell me you just dream that we're in one. *

*Zac* Sounds like he really wanted to so badly. I'll take that as a "Yes, I can't wait to the point I need to dream it." *

*Mary* Are you okay, Thad? You don't look to good.*

Everyone is standing near my desk, talking and laughing. I just stare at them quietly.

So, this is all just a dream?

My tears started to flow down naturally. They noticed and some of them started to get panic and worry about me.

*Carlos* Thad, What is going on? *

*Zac* Yeah, I never expect you to cry unexpectedly like that. *

*Norta* Were you...having a nightmare?*

I just smiled to them, eyes filled with tears and said nothing.

*???* Huh? What's going on there? *

They all turn to this one person, with a voice that I felt familiar of.

*Louis* Oh, yeah Thad. When you were taking a nap in class. The professor let you sleep and won't bother you when there's something happening. *

*Norta* Yeah, apparently we have a new student in our class! She really wants to greet everyone. She can't greet you though since you slept a moment ago. *

I try to get some sight of this new student, but they are still blocking my view.

*???* I hope I don't bother you guys, but the principal told me to call you guys to his office. He wanted to talk about the school party decoration with you guys. *

*Norta* Oh, really?! YES!! It's my time to shine with my skill! Let's go everyone! *

*Carlos* But Thad here is crying. Shouldn't we stay with him a bit? *

*Thaddeus* No, it's okay. Just go and tell me about the what you guys talk about later. I'm fine.*

*Norta* See? Thaddeus is a strong man, you know. Now let's go so we can get back to him early too.*

Norta said while pulling all the others with her and rush out of the classroom. Leaving me and this new student alone. I manage to get to see this person face clearly. It was a girl, around our age, pale skin with long side braided black hair. Her eyes are a rare dark scarlet eyes, with a warm smile flashing to me.  Dress in a short jeans and a amber oversize hoodie, black hair and a pair of black sneaker.  

She looks familiar too.

*???* Hello! You must be Thaddeus. My name's Lena. I'm the new exchange student from BeckHarm High. *

*Thaddeus* Oh, hi. Nice to meet you Lena. *

*Lena* I hope I didn't come to greet you in the wrong time though. *

I realized that my eyes are still filled with tears. I quickly swept it away, but then something came into my mind. This girl looks really familiar. I felt like I just met her a moment ago. I just can't remember exactly. I couldn't help myself but ask her about this.

*Thaddeus* I felt like I've seen you somewhere. Have we met before?*

She smiles even more once she heard that question. 

*Lena* Yes  ...... Yes, we did.  You're the kid that gave me a free ice cream.*

*Thaddeus* What? Ice cream?*

*Lena* Oh, so you don't remember? That's okay. I was a bit different from my young gloomy self  so it makes sense that you can't remember it.*

Once she said that, I started to remember something about this. But I felt like I am still missing something even bigger and more important. 

*Lena* Are you sure you don't remember me? *

She said that while still keeping her smile. This is getting me confuse. I felt like as if she is pushing me to think about something that I was having a hard time to do so already.  

*Lena* But really, it's okay. No pressure. I'm kind of hungry right now. Can you show me where the cafeteria is?  And it would be nice if you can share some tips and facts for me to know. Would really appreciate it! *

*Thaddeus* Ah, yeah sure. Let's go then. *

Thoughts and tears are pushed aside from my brain and open a new conversation with Lena. I get up and walk along side with her, enjoying each other company and get to know each other more. 

The End 

And It's the end already!! Yay!! My goodness, I never thought they it would took this long for me to finish it. Thanks to my friend, Vanry for reminding me to finish this. You're the best. If it's not for you, I would probably discontinue this and never get to finished it. 

There will be another chapter which is the epilogue  and then  this story will end for good.

Thank you for taking your precious time to read this ridiculous story that I made when I was a 14 years old kid. LOL
