Summary: Tommy & Ranboo are very disliked amongst the kids at camp. Thankfully, Tubbo always likes to look at things his way

LONG CHAPTER POG

Note: this is literally based off of personal experience. Two boys were disliked lots at a camp I was in, and so I just hung out with them. Turns out they were very nice :D

"So, what are you excited about the most Tubbo?" Asked 5up who was sitting on the camp bus next to the shorter brunette. He shrugged. "I don't know, really. I'm just overall excited but nervous at the same time." The taller brunette with a little radish patch sewn on his jacket chuckled, knowing Tubbo wasn't a very people's person expecting him to be a little clingy at the beginning, since the other two people he knew was Fundy and Quackity who were both currently talking to some other friends in the back of the bus. "Hey, I think they'll like you. I know it can be a bit scary, but I promise you I won't just leave you hanging." 5up said, shooting the shorter a reassuring look. "swear?" Tubbo asked, holding out his hand. 5up chuckled, taking his friend's hand, and squeezing it. "Swear."

It was kind of like a pinky promise to them. They often joked around, saying they were 'quirky' if they had their own version of a pinky promise. They continued to talk, until a small kick could be felt behind them. The duo turned around, and through the small in between seats crack, they could see two boys, chuckling slightly. 5up rolled his eyes and turned back around. "Ignore them Tub, they are just being childish." He said, not feeling like dealing with some boys who were guaranteed to be kicking into their seats.

Tubbo ended up turning his attention back to his childhood friend, resuming in a conversation they abandoned due to the slight intermission those two boys behind them caused. The rest of the ride to the campsite was quite chill, Tubbo and 5up chatting, chewing on snacks here and there, the other two behind them deciding not to cause them trouble. Though, Tubbo did hear words like "shortie" "newbie" and "weirdass" fly behind him, already knowing it were the two boys behind them. It sounded like most of it was one guy saying it, while the other was just sat agreeing with a slight hesitant tone. This made Tubbo nervous, unknown to the position the duo were in amongst the kids in the camp, afraid that the two could be somewhat popular and would start spreading rumors about him. After a solid five minutes of sheer panic, Tubbo decided to try and calm down. He knew he was overthinking, plus, if they were to spread rumors about him, he knew 5up wouldn't believe them and stay by his side no matter what.

The bus finally came to a stop, camp counselors getting up from their seats, saying instructions as to how the tent building would go, and where to put luggage. Everyone started slowly standing up, and Tubbo did also. The brunette could say he expected anything, but for the two boys behind them to be literally towering over him. He carefully snuck glances at the duo, taking notice of the fact, that the blonde one was shorter than the boy next to him but was still way taller that Tubbo, but oh god. The other one was like a little over a head taller than him. Why were they so fucking tall? The brunette tugged on 5up's sleeve, successfully gaining his attention. He turned around to look at him. "Cup, who the fuck are they? Why are they so tall?" He whispered. 5up chuckled at the fearful expression his friend was making, before he leaned in to whisper his response. "Don't worry about them Tub. They're quite the assholes. Just don't pay them attention and they'll leave you alone." He said.
