Monday 1, September
POV: Aeson

Aeson: -the first Monday of September, which refers also to the first school day. I wake up normally at 7:00 am, but I obviously forgot to set the alarm,l after a summer, so now I am kind of late (yes, first day... I'm always late). It's 8:40 am and I am brushing my teeth. After this I will have to run to class, and I sincerely don't know if I'm willing to run this early in the morning. This reminded me of Jaden, who is always early and maybe knocked a while on my door even, he's probably waiting for me at the cafeteria right now so we can enter to classes together as everyday since we became best friends in like third grade. I guess I won't eat breakfast today. I realized, as aforementioned, I have no willing to run today. Walking with all the calm of the world to the cafeteria, I found Jaden right there, and I walked in a sort of  fast pace towards him so he thinks I was indeed in a hurry.- good morning. -I said with a little smile.-

Jaden: good morning. -he said, smiling back, looking up at me.- you're late. -I snort, looking down.-

Aeson: I don't care. -I smiled widely at him.- Headmistress said that today we're supposed to look "decent", what does that even mean? - I told Jaden while walking with him to our first classroom of the day, geography. I was feeling shivers, it was cold... it feels as if I forgot something.-

Jaden: well that can mean using our formal uniform, which you're not using, -said looking at me with a sarcastic smile that shows annoyance more than fun or something.- and using our coats which I just notice you also don't have on and you should look for right now.

Aeson: why are you like this? -I ask, what a way to remind me of what I'm missing.-

Jaden: I don't know, but you have 3 minutes, no te quejes y corre.

Aeson: don't move from here or I'll kill you. -and this is me now, running trough the infinite-looking corridors of my floor... well it's not my floor of course, but in this floor is my room. Im pretty sure the Geography teacher hates me, I think she may kill me if I enter late again... but I don't care, it's not like they can call my parents I guess. And also who cares about geography classes, I already know America is a continent and not a country and I know where Guatemala is, that should be enough. I rapidly entered the key on my doorknob and took my coat from my bed, running back to where I left Jaden. He's just standing there looking at his nails.- Jaden! I got it! -I exclaimed as I was getting every step closer to him.- thanks for reminding me.

Jaden: a pleasure. -he told me rolling his eyes.-

Aeson: that's why you're my best friend. Let's go. -I told him as if I didn't see his pretty -damn annoying- eyes trying to find his own brain.-

Aeson: -we entered to geography classroom at 9:03, 2 minutes before class started and for God's sake, the teacher wasn't there yet.-

Jaden: thanks God we're early, it would be our fifth delay counting with last year's last trimester... why is always this class at the beginning? I can't stand geography anymore.

Aeson: ...why do you count every time we're late?

Jaden: I've always felt it's important, if someone ever tries to say like: "you're late like for the hundred time" I can easily answer: "They've only been five." And advocate for our delay rights. Or make it awkward enough so the person won't say anything else.

Aeson: great idea. -I nod convinced. Let's not lie, it's absolutely convincing.-

Jaden: I know. -says smiling haughtily.-

Aeson: I know. -I imitated with a high-pitched voice, mocking him but not making any gesture, kind of grinning before the teacher entered calling our attention.-
