Saturday 29, November
POV: narratorNarrator: today, the school's Winter Dance is taking place. It is only 12:25pm, the dance isn't until 6:30pm. Yet, everything is already a pretty ordered chaos.
There's people from 10th, 11th and 12th grade running from hallway to hallway back and forth carrying dresses, suites, hair irons, bags filled with makeup and even shoes. Funnily enough, only two teachers have been seen in the entire day. Avy, Reagan and Lio wanted to dress up and do each other's makeup together. But they're still calm. They will start stressing after lunch....
Narrator: lunch, in fact, passed and the girls started stressing just as soon. The three girls are already dressed and Reagan is even ready, her makeup done and all.
Avy and Lio have beautiful ball gowns, they went shopping some weeks ago and decided to buy them right then and there. Avy's is dark blue, princess-like, since it's the style to go big. It's like royalty balls, in which all the girls tend to wear big and expensive princess ball gowns and the boys wear their best ever suits. Lio's gown is dark green, it's planning to match Adrian's suit. Reagan on the other side, didn't want to wear a dress. She's wearing a very elegant dark blue suit that matches Avy's dress. Also, she didn't want more than a light makeup and her accessories, Avy did her hair first, her front sections tied back in braids, with flowers pins through them. Now, Lio is helping Avy with her makeup, while she does her hair. Lio is good at makeup, Avy is good at hair and right now it's an impressive job the one they are doing. One thing is true and those two things are difficult to do simultaneously.Lio: how did you learn to do that? -she asked Avy after watching her do herself two braids and tie them back just like Reagan's, then letting some strands from the braids loose and curling them up and sticking hair pins in, all while having only one eye open since Lio is doing her eye makeup.-
Avy: my mom taught me. She's really good at doing hair and I've just always seen her do these type of things. -she said, gesturing Lio to step back a little. Lio did, and she sprayed hair spray all over her hair, then coughing a bit since the smell is in fact horrible.-
Narrator: Lio then steps forward and finishes with Avy's makeup. Avy looks at herself in the mirror when she's done, and gasps, smiling. Her eye makeup has a base of light blue then on top of that a darker shiny blue, a small eyeliner and her natural eyelashes curled up and long enough with mascara. She has red lipstick on.-
Avy: Lio, it's so beautiful! Thank you so much! -she smiled up at her, hugging her tightly.- now, your turn. I have something planned for your hair and I think you'll love it. -she lets Lio sit down in front of the mirror. Lio smiles. She absolutely adores doing this. It makes her miss her best friend at home, but at the same time, she loves Avy and Reagan more and more.-
Lio: do your thing. -she answered. She isn't planning to do her makeup while Avy's doing her hair, so she will just wait until it's done.-
Narrator: Avy did a half up-half down hairstyle on Lio, her hair was already straightened so she only had to curl it, making beautiful loose waves on Lio's hair, then also sticking flower pins up in Lio's hair. Despite the simplicity of the hairstyle, it looked amazing on Lio, as elegant as it looked ethereal.
Avy: ready. -she said after spraying Lio's hair with hair spray, letting her stand up to look at herself.-
Lio: God, I loved it! Really I'm fascinated. -she turned first left, then right to see the hairstyle from all possible angles. She's ecstatic, loving the way she looks by now. The only thing missing is her makeup.-
