POV: AesonAeson: do you have anything you want to talk about? -I say after a while walking alone with Jaden, dropping my smile, remembering the encounter with Lucas.-
Jaden: because of Lucas? You need to stop worrying about it, the accident happened almost a year ago. -he said grabbing softly my hand. Now he actually looks a bit calmer. But I'm not calm at all to be honest. This is one of the few things that can make me actually feel something so intensely. And it's been rough days this last weeks. I feel a bit of a pit in my stomach.-
Aeson: then why did you react that way? -I said, looking at our hands.-
Jaden: I don't know. I guess I really thought his parents took him out of this school, if they didn't, why would they retire him in the middle of the year? -he said, looking at me as if I have the answer.- well that's not relevant, I was just shocked and then I remembered the accident and I got more shocked, I'm sorry for worrying you.
Aeson: I'm not mad at you for reacting that way, I'm just disgusted for him, I can't forget something like that. He's sick. And stop saying it was an accident, it wasn't at all. -I said, tightening my grip on his hand.-
Jaden: ok, calm down, we need to go to class. After classes we can go to your room so you can talk about it. - he said letting go of my hand, calmly as always.-
Aeson: ok, it's ok. But before that, we have to go see if Lio needs anything.
Jaden: I know but, after that.
Aeson: sure. You know what, we should've given Lio our phone numbers, we forgot it completely. -I say, grimacing. Oh, it doesn't sound good to think about a girl alone and new in this school not having the numbers of the only people she has met here.-
Jaden: oh my god that's true. -he opened his eyes wide.- God, I hope she's ok.
Aeson: what's the worst thing that could happen? -I ask and shrug.-
Jaden: I don't know, maybe she got lost. -he gets pale to that idea.-
Aeson: don't say that, and stop, we already walk past the classroom.
Jaden: I was just saying straight facts. We should have given her our numbers. -oh now he looks so worried. Poor boy.-
Aeson: yeah... but well, we didn't.
POV: Lio
Lio: -it has been a long day, saying goodbye to my parents and walking all this school and the introduction in which I surely looked awkward. Oh, man. Thanks God I got good people as guides. They were very nice. I already accommodated everything in my room and texted my parents, sending a picture. Maybe I could do something while everyone else finishes classes. I go out of my room now, on my way to the library.-
Avelia: Oh. My. God. -oh my God.- You're the new one right? Lionella? -a tiny, skinny platinum blonde white girl with freckles comes at me with the brightest smile ever. I turn at her and obviously smile back, I wouldn't like to seem rude.-
Lio: yes, yes, that's me. -I look then at the girl standing beside her, a tall brunette with warm skin, who also smiles at me but a bit... gentler.-
Avelia: well, what a pleasure to meet you! My name's Avelia and this girl here is Reagan. -she went to stand beside me, Reagan behind us.-
Lio: the pleasure is all-
Avelia: where are you going? Do you want me to guide you? You should be careful, you could get lost. -she interrupted me. She seems talkative. Or worried.-
