POV: Jaden
Jaden: -it's the morning after the dance. I woke up with Aeson hugging me from behind, with one of his legs in between my legs and his face so close my neck I could feel his breathing crash softly on my skin.
I stretched a bit, reaching for my phone and checking it. 9:26am, too many notifications and 3 missed calls. Two are from Juliette, one from my mom... I check again the notifications and I see all the messages my mom left.
She was... quite excited about my first ever Winter dance. I have to send her all the pictures I took. My mom has always been very invested in what I do here, who I'm with, where do I hang out. I don't think she's nosy, but I don't understand why does she care so much. I've been here for long enough.
I decided to answer her texts.
