Peter's POV:

I race home, eager to start getting ready for tonight. I'm looking forward to dancing the night away with Liz. Although, I'm not the best dancer so hopefully Aunt May can teach me a few moves. A simper forms on my face as I think about spending time with Liz. It slowly disappears, however, when I remember y/n. She and Ezra were talking and laughing together during PE. We sat together during lunch but Ezra came over to our table and stole her away. The only time I had her to myself was a few minutes ago when school ended. Why did he have to speak to her so much? He's already going to see her at the dance. I roll my eyes as I think about him.

The subway stops and I step out, hurrying home. I make it to my apartment and burst through the door. My feet screech to a halt when I spot Aunt May and declare, "May, I need your help."

Y/n's POV:

I strut into the compound, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness about tonight. I've only been to one other Homecoming dance in my life, and I went with Nancy and Barb. Nancy was the one who convinced us to attend but after I started dating Jonathan, we never went because we never cared for it. Tonight is different, however. It's a great opportunity for me to distract myself and have a good time.
