Chapter 32: Endgame

The Avengers Facility - 2023

The team collected all seven stones, unfortunately losing Nat in the process, and built their own gauntlet. Bruce nominated himself to put it on, and everyone prepares themselves around him. When he slips on the gauntlet, electricity shoots up his arm, putting Bruce in utter agony. He fights through the immense pain and eventually manages to snap his fingers.

Wakanda

Y/n's POV:

I open my eyes and look around. I see Bucky in front of me, looking confused as hell. Did I fall asleep? I approach him and ask, "what happened? Where did Steve go? He was right here with Thor." Bucky just stares at me in bewilderment.

"I-I don't know. The last thing I remember is seeing him here too." All of a sudden, Wanda and Sam jog up to us, also super confused.

"Wanda!" I call out as we embrace each other.

"Where's Vision's body?" she asks. I shrug and shake my head, not knowing what's going on. We all look around and see people forming from a cloud of dust.

"What the..." Sam mutters.

"Is that what happened to us?" I curiously question.

"Must be," Bucky replies.

"Hey, Cap, you read me?" Sam voices into his comms. "Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?" He smirks as he sees a portal opening in front of King T'Challa, Okoye, and Shuri. I furrow my eyebrows when I see it. "On your left." He takes off and flies into the portal the king stepped through.

I smile at his actions. "We barely come back and are thrown into another fight," I remark. Wanda nods her head.

"Tell me about it," Bucky responds. More portals open up and everyone walks through. Bucky goes up to a portal that's opening up nearby with a group of other people, and Wanda and I grin at each other before launching into the air and flying through a portal. We land on the battlefield side-by-side. Thousands of others are brought onto the field through portals as well. I guess it's going to take all of us to defeat Thanos's army.

A giant emerges from the rubble of what I think is the Avengers compound. I'm guessing that's Ant-Man. People begin to shout in unison as ships fly over us and we all line up, preparing for battle. I, for one, am ready to squish this dude's grape head for snapping me out of existence.  Wanda and I stand in the front, Steve being a few people down from me. I look behind me for a second and spot Tony in his Iron Man suit. I smile and wave and he waves back. We can catch up later, right now we have a job to do. I face forward and position myself, my hands radiating purple energy.

Steve shouts, "Avengers!"

"...Assemble."

Thor lets out a battle cry, followed by Black Panther, which leads to all of us yelling as we charge at our enemies. I run and launch into the air, flying into battle. After a while, I spot Spider-Man defeating someone as another alien sneaks up behind him. I fire a beam of energy at the alien, sending it to the ground. Spider-Man turns around, stunned by the sound, and looks up. His mask disappears as he watches me drift down to him. I land in front of him and pull him into a tight hug.

"Pete, oh, my God! You have no idea how bad I wanted to see you."

"I wanted to see you too. I'm glad you're okay," he replies in a trembling voice. I pull back and notice him staring at me dreamily. I smirk, "We still on for that date?"

He chortles, looking down for a second before looking back at me. "Wouldn't miss it for anything."

I gleam at him and back away. "Great... see you later," I respond before taking flight again. I continue to blast aliens out of the sky until I come face-to-face with a particularly stubborn one. They fly at me and knock me down. We wrestle for a bit until I use my telekinesis to push them off. I lift them into the air and they're shot dead by a laser. I look up in surprise to see the person responsible: Tony. He lands in front of me and instantly embraces me in his arms. I hug back just as eagerly, I'm so happy to know he's okay.
