This song just reminds me so much of y/n. It's her anthem idc ❤‍🔥

This was my first fanfic ever and after some experience with other books, I realized that I don't like writing in the first person lol. So I'm gonna write the rest of this story in the third person! It feels so much better that way.

Newark, New Jersey

Y/n and Peter walk through the airport with interlocked fingers and content smiles on their faces. After that eventful trip, they're both happy to be back home. "Daniel LaRusso's from here," the girl randomly blurts as she looks around the airport. Peter glances at her with a confused face.

"What?"

"Daniel. The Karate Kid. He's from Newark," y/n clarifies.

Peter chuckles and shakes his head. "I know but I find it funny that you're bringing that up. You always manage to bring Ralph Macchio up in a conversation," he claims.

The girl shrugs. "There's just so much to say about him," she responds. She suddenly gasps and excitedly yaks, "oh, my God, do you think he knows I exist? The whole world knows me because of the 'being found alive 32 years later' thing, so he's had to have heard of me, right???"

Peter chuckles, amused by her rambling. "It's very likely," he answers. The girl's face lights up, which melts the boy's heart.

"Ralph Macchio knows who I am..." she slowly speaks as she gazes off into space. Or maybe not but I like the thought... He definitely has to know Amethyst though, she thinks. Peter lightheartedly rolls his eyes and shakes his head. They keep walking and look up to see a group of families gathered around a few feet in front of them, holding signs. They start calling out to their kids and the classmates go running to their respective families.

The couple stops in their tracks and turns their bodies to face each other. "Are you sure no one else has figured it out?" the boy suddenly asks, changing the subject.

"Yup. It's not like anyone pays attention to us. Well, actually, that's not entirely true but no one from our class pays attention," y/n confirms. The paparazzi still pester her from time to time, that's the price of being Tony Stark's adoptive daughter. As for her school peers, however, they're used to her by now and treat her just like everyone else. "Plus, I may have read some of their minds when they would look at us weird..." she adds, a hint of guilt in her voice. She never liked doing that but after Beck... she figures that sometimes it could slide.

Peter raises his eyebrows, taken aback. "Wow, really?"

"Yeah, well, after Beck... you know," y/n trails off. "But the good news is that they don't suspect a thing and none of them are super-villains!" she states, smiling.

Peter smiles and shrugs. "Hm. Guess that's good," he agrees. They both chuckle. Y/n's eyes wander behind him, spotting MJ and Ezra approaching with connected hands. After getting chased by drones, Ezra confessed his feelings for MJ and asked her out. Y/n smirks when she sees them.

"Hey, guys," she greets them.

"Hey," they both return.

Ned and Betty walk over as well. "You guys are so cute," the blonde comments, smiling at Ezra and MJ. She shifts her eyes to y/n and Peter and adds, "so are you guys. You're literally goals." Y/n and Peter grin timidly at each other while the other couple does the same thing.

"Thanks," Ezra and Peter both reply.

"Hey, I have an idea! We should all go on a group date or something," y/n suggests.
