Chapter 5:The New Family Member

Luther POV :

Who the hell is this guy ? I knew that dad skipped the number 4 for a reason but I didn't think it was this big .

Number 4 .. I mean Klaus said he needs to find his room .

All of us stood there looking dumbfounded.

Klaus POV :

Everyone was just staring at me dumbfounded.

I snapped my fingers and said 'Hello!'.

And that seemingly worked. Pogo then looked like he realized something.

He said : "Master Klaus , you were on October 1st, 1989 the same day as these children right ?" . I nodded .

He continued : "And you are from Germany , I remember you now".

All the 4 academy members looked at pogo including me for an explanation.

Pogo said : "Children Master Klaus is indeed your sibling . He was born in the same day as all of you . As you saw he also has abilities .
I remember him because Sir Reginald mentioned him once saying that he couldn't buy the child in Germany . He said that he wanted the child to perfect the umbrella Academy .
Children your father always hoped that one day he would find Master Klaus and make him a umbrella Academy member . It was also the reason why your father skipped the number 4 . Because it was meant for Master Klaus".

Damn .. I thought to myself , Reggie was kind enough to save me a spot at the academy .

The others looked at pogo then at me . They were all trying to take in the fact that there was another one like them with abilities with the exception of Vanya .

Including Vanya everyone realized that I was there long lost sibling whom they have never met before .

I decide it's a perfect time to joke .

I go towards them and say : "I don't know about you guys but I could use a hug". I hug Vanya and Allison who hug back. I hug diego who quickly tries to take me off .

I then hugged luther who just stood there awkwardly.

I didn't know if I should hug pogo or not but I thought screw it and I hugged the chimp .

"Hello children" I heard someone say .

I turned around to see a women . The children collectively said : "Hi mom".

Oh this must be Grace . I saw a smile on Diego's face . Oh so he is a softie from the inside .

Pogo says to Grace : "Grace this your other and new child . He is Number 4 . I am sure you remember Sir Reginald mention him. His real name is Klaus Hargreeves and he will be staying here".

Grace nodded and looked at me with a robot smile . But I swore I saw flicker of emotions in her eyes , I saw hope , love and light . As if she was more than happy to have a child of her around .

Wait did pogo said Klaus Hargreeves . Apparently the others had the same questions so all of us looked at pogo again.

Pogo said : "If it's alright with you Master Klaus you can change your last name if you want , as for your legal documents , Sir Reginald had already made some because he knew that you would come here one day and stay".

I nod and accept the name Hargreeves, I actually feel like a apart of the family . If there weren't people here I would have screamed with joy .

Grace turned to me and said : "Welcome to the family Klaus , you can call me mom". I don't know if she was being polite or if she actually wanted me to call her mom but I was moved .
I said : "Okay .. mom".
