Part 23

Narrator POV:

Octavia was setting up for the party and Lincoln had come over early to 'help.' I'm pretty sure he just wanted to be with his girlfriend. Bellamy was also there but he wasn't helping, he wasn't a big fan of Lincoln, or rather anyone Octavia dated.

Luna and Raven arrived first, the walked into the house laughing with each other which made Lincoln suspicious. He didn't mention anything but he made a mental note of what he saw. "Hey Rae!" Octavia shouted as she ran up, embracing Raven into a hug. "Hey O, you need help setting up?" Raven asked. "No, I think we are all good." Octavia said.

People started to arrive one after another, some in groups and some alone. Music was blasting from the speakers and lights were flashing. Octavia and Raven were dancing together while Luna and Lincoln were catching up on lost time. Bellamy had finally come down now and was drinking and hanging out with his friends.

Clarke and Lexa arrived later. They stopped outside in the car. "You sure you want to do this?" Clarke asked, looking at the brunette next to her. "No, but I think it's too late." Lexa said, motioning her hand to point at Raven who was now running over to them. "Clarkie, you made it!" Raven said, slurring her words. "Woah, Raven you ok?" Clakre asked. "I'm fine Griffin, my tolerance is through the roof." Raven said pointing and looking up which cause her to almost stumbling to the ground.

Clarke causght her and held her up. "I will be back" she said as she walked away from Lexa, walking Raven over to the couch next to Octavia. Lexa had made her way to Luna and Lincoln. "I thought this wasn't your scene?" Lincoln asked, mocking her a little. "It's not." Lexa said back. "Why don't you ever go to parties." Luna asked, giving Lexa a little shove on her arm. "I may have a habit of getting pissed off and beating up someone, so I chose to stay away." Lexa said, looking at the ground.

Lunas eyes went wide as Lincoln said, "oh yeah that's right, I remember when you did that," with a chuckle. "Did you win at least?" Luna said. "Of course, I never lose." Lexa laughed as she crossed her arms proudly. Luna and Lincoln laughed at her response, knowing she was right. Even as kids, Lexa always won everything between arguments, games and even play fights.

Clarke sat Raven down on the couch and went to get some water for her from the kitchen. Octavia was rubbing Ravens head while Raven sat there and giggled at her the whole time. Clarke came back and said "drink this" and without any questions Raven followed orders and sloppily drank the water, some spilling out the side of her mouth. Octavia and Clarke shared glances and smiles as the watched there drunk friend.

Both girls held out there hand to Raven and she grabbed both. They walked her over carefully to the table Lexa, Luna and Lincoln were at like a small child. When they reached them, the handed her off to Luna. "Wait why do I get her?" She protested, looking at Raven who was drunkingly  holding onto her arms for support.

"You came with her, she your problem now" Octavia said as she walked over to Lincoln and he put her arm around her waist. Clarke found a spot next to Lexa while Raven hung desperately onto Luna so she didn't fall over.

Jasper, Monty, Harper, and Maya all came together, Jasper and Monty brought moonshine that they had to conceal around Raven as she was still recovering from her drunk state. A song came on and everyone except the the three new people made eye contact. The all started to laugh before making there way to the dance floor. "Wait, what's going on?" Luna asked in confusion, she was still holding on to Raven. "It's there favorite song, it plays every time we do anything together" Raven said sloppily but she had been a lot better.

Raven made a motion to go and join them but Luna grabbed her wrist and pulled her back to her seat, "sit" She ordered and Raven followed, sulking a little.
