Part 34

Clarke POV:

This morning was very stressful. It was the first time Raven was going into school since her accident. She put off the vibe that she wasn't nervous but I know she was. People will stare at her and whisper and I know it will make her uncomfortable, even if she won't admit it.

"Hey Rae, you ready to go?" I yelled from the door. I watched as she walked around the corner. She has made tremendous progress since she was let out of the hospital a week ago. She no longer needs support unless she is pushing too far or for too long.

If she does need support, she just grabs onto me or Luna, or even occasionally Lexa if she is near. She does it subtly so nobody will know she needs help. It's kind of cute sometimes, she is like a koala bear.

Luna followed behind her and Lexa was already next to me. "Ready to go Clarkie," she said happily, walking out the door, practically pushing me out of the way.

"Alright I guess we are going" I mumbled under my breath at Raven's rude behavior but she didn't hear me. Lexa did though and she chuckled at my sarcasm as we walked out.

I drove the four of us to school and when we got there, I watched as Luna helped Raven out of the car. I nudged Lexa and she watched them as well as Raven clung to Luna for support. Like a koala.

We walked over to all of our friends and they all wrapped Raven in hugs and condolences immediately as they saw us. "What are we, chopped liver?" I said putting my hands up while looking and Lexa and Luna as everyone had run past us, completely disregarding us.

"Sorry Clarke" Octavia said as she came and gave me a hug. "Well now it feels forced but I appreciate it anyways O," I said, hugging her back.

Everyone backed away and went back to their normal spots. "How do you feel Raven?" Octavia asked after she had settled in Lincoln's lap with his arm draped over her shoulders.

"Besides the stares I have gotten so far, actually pretty good" she responded truthfully. She spoke too quickly because we heard a voice approach us.

"Raven I heard about the accident. Are you ok? Why didn't you call?" Finn said as he forcefully hugged Raven. Her arms were forced by her sides and she was unable to move or push him away. She gave us all desperate looks as she stood frozen in his grasp.

We all stood there and watched, none of us knew what to do. Luna stood behind Raven, eyeing Finn as he finally let her go. At the release of his grip, Raven stumbled a little bit Luna caught her and guided Raven behind her slightly. In a protective way as Raven still held onto Luna for a bit. Koala bear style.

"Leave Finn" Octavia said angrily, standing up and going to Raven's side. Lincoln followed her too.

"No," he said firmly, which sent all of us over, closer to protect Raven. "She loves me and I'm not leaving." He said, pointing to Raven who had her head down, looking at the floor.

"No she doesn't," I said to him, holding my ground, ready to protect my friend at all costs.

"He's right" we heard a small voice behind us. Everyone whipped their head around to look at Raven who had stepped in front of Luna now, letting go of her grip. I wanted to smack the smug right off of Finn's face as he looked at her.

"I did love you Finn. But then you broke my heart. I can never go back. You don't have my heart anymore Finn, and you will never have it again." She said firmly, looking at him with her cold eyes, zero emotion only with hate seeping in.

"You ungrateful bitch" he said loudly, grabbing her arm aggressively.

Within a split second, Finn was on the ground, holding his nose which was bleeding. I turned back to see what had happened and I saw Luna standing in front of Raven, one of her hands had Finn's blood on it.
