"it's getting very late , i should get going" she took a look at the gigantic clock in the hallway and it was half past 9 already . " i've already informed Ivy and Min Jung that you can stay for a night since today might have taken a toll on you"
" i see , where is the room that i would be accommodating in ?" she looked around at the multiple rooms and the prince had felt very hesitant and looked around as well before scratching his head . " the thing is , all of the rooms are occupied with the palace staff since it was empty so there isn't any space" she lifted her brows and was a little confused .
" but your highness no one-" the staff got cut off as the prince showed a frown and asked him to be quiet . " i think there's no other choice so you can take a rest in my room instead . i can be in the living room for the night ." she thought it was rather inappropriate as it was his room after all .
"it's your room so i think you should take it" he squinted his eyes and pretended to think of a good idea . " i hope you don't mind us sharing the bed then ?" her face started to warm up as she looked away and tapped her face repeatedly . "i-i don't mind it" both of them looked away but were smiling brightly before the prince cleared his throat .
" you should go to sleep first , i'll handle some things." she nodded and went in the room . as soon as they separated , both of them were jumping in sync and silently screamed . the princess plopped down the bed but didn't feel tired as she had slept well earlier . she calmed herself down and tried to sleep yet couldn't no matter how hard she tried .
a few minutes later , she felt the bed sink and her heartbeat was exhilarating in a ridiculously fast pace . she had twisted and turned in order to sleep but she still had so much energy . " is it hard to sleep ?" the prince's deep voice startled her and she looked up to see that she was facing his back . "a little" she laughed and he turned around , face centimetres away . " then do you want to watch the stars with me ?"
even though it was dark , her flustered face was easily seen . she jolted up from the bed and pointed towards the door , " s-sure , let's go watch the
s-stars ." he giggled and headed towards his closet to bring out a warm furry robe in case she got cold .
they made their way to the mountain behind the castle and the view was majestic and incredible , even more than her own castle back home . the whole village was visible , people were still roaming around as it wasn't that late . the strong wind made them feel calm as they sit in silence . it had been awhile since they could relax as they had a lot on the plate .
"the stars are so bright , it's my first time" the stars were indeed bright but her eyes were shining brighter as he stared at her . he felt like he wanted to stay with her forever and that she felt so familiar , as if they knew each other . the feeling goes through his mind every single day when he thinks of her .
and that goes without saying , she felt the same . even moments when they would talk to each other had felt so familiar . even before they knew it themselves , whoever would see them could already tell they were falling in love over again .
in the few minutes of silence , the prince had felt a heavy object on his shoulder and noticed the princess had fallen asleep . he carefully placed the robe on her and stayed that way even if his back was hurting . only after a few hours when he had finished admiring the scenery , he then carried the princess to his room and had fallen asleep right after .
when morning came , the princess decided to get back to her own kingdom as it wouldn't be appropriate to leave it alone for a long time . she thanked the 7 princes for her stay and wished they could go over and visit again .
" i see that you're very happy , Hae Won ." Ivy had the chance to tease her on their way back and she could only roll her eyes and shake her head .
when she had arrived at the palace , tons of work had to be done since she had left for awhile . she worked all night and day , leaving her office only for the washroom . she was so focused that she had overworked herself and fell sick due to the overwhelming work . she wanted to finish the work but Ivy and Min Jung was serious over her health and forbid her from doing anymore work until she was well .
" if you tell anyone i'm sick , you're in trouble ." she still had the energy to joke around and felt really helpless since she couldn't do anything .
