prince Min Hyung got up and slowly put the kitten down as he ran towards the ever so delighted princess who didn't care one bit about the cold .
" get a towel please , Ivy !" she shouted and she immediately came with a big towel which she thought was for the princess but she wrapped the puppy in it instead . the princes couldn't help but laugh at the silliness of the princess .
" come on ." prince Min Hyung said as she took his hand and came up from the pool , shivering . the prince took off his blazer and put it around her as well as his arm . she was still smiling delightfully as if nothing had happened . " you're very funny , princess . we have never seen someone who wraps an animal before themselves ." prince Chen Le's laugh had filled the whole area as it was loud yet pleasant , making the princess laugh as well .
" they are really cute , aren't they ?" she said as she petted them with her shaking hands . " you should have a change of clothes before you get sick ." Ivy reminded her and she excused herself from the princes . " sorry , will be back in a moment ." she ran to her room with her assistants chasing after her .
" ah i took prince Min Hyung's blazer and now it's wet ." she said as she removed his blazer . she changed to a fresh and clean dress before making her way to the late king's closet that still had his suits hanging with robes and what not . she carefully picked out a white and gold elegant blazer and put it on her arms as she made her way out .
it was such a pleasant scene to see as the princes had gotten attached to the animals though one was keeping a distance . she noticed prince Jeno sitting alone away from the others so she walked to him .
" is this too boring for you ?" she looked up at him and he flashed his eye smile that made her flustered . " no , your highness . i just have an allergy to fur ." he rubbed his nape in embarrassment and she smiled .
" i apologise for my lack of knowledge , do you want to do something else ?" he immediately shook his head and looked at his dear brothers . " as long as they are enjoying themselves , i'm happy ." she nodded and excused herself from him to get to prince Min Hyung who had a separate affection for the puppy who had fell into the pool earlier . she took a seat next to him and patted the puppy . " here you go , prince Min Hyung . it's my late father's and i hope it fits you ."
" you shouldn't have , i already have loads of suits back in the castle ." he refused but she strongly insisted . " it's okay , wear it on ! i'm sure you would look dashing in this ." he put the puppy down as she helped him wear it on . true to her words , he had stood out from the rest and looked amazing in the blazer . she cheered as she eyed the prince who was rather shy at the attention from the princess and his brothers .
it was soon lunch time and the princess had requested for a picnic under the old tree and delicious snacks were served on the picnic mat as they shared stories from when they were younger . she attentively listened on and when it was prince Min Hyung's turn , it was silent .
" my brother actually lost his memories from when he was younger so he doesn't have any stories but there was one we'd always tell him to ridicule him at times ." upon hearing the word 'ridicule' , the prince immediately shut them up . even though he doesn't know whether it was true , it was rather embarrassing . even so , prince Ji Sung decided to expose him .
" prince Min Hyung doesn't visit the kitchen much and when he does he kind of sets it on fire ." the princes cracked up as they recalled the memory . prince Jae Min decided to continue , " he was 17 at the time and it was in the middle of the night . he was a tad bit hungry and decided to cook eggs but poor prince had spilled the oil over the counter . in the end , the fire from the stove had picked it up and lit up the place , causing the sensors to go off . thank god it was in time though ." she laughed loudly at his silliness but her mind had played a scene .
she was sitting amongst the freshly bloomed cherry blossoms with prince Min Hyung as she hears the same story being told . it felt like a deja vu and her chest had a piercing pain for a moment as she took a deep breath and looked away to put her hand on her chest in hopes for the pain to go away .
" are you okay , princess ?" prince Ji Sung had noticed and held her arms but she quickly turned back and nodded to signify she was okay .
" i lost my memories just recently too but my assistants always bring up embarrassing moments as well so i know that feeling very well ." the princes laughed it off but deep down the 6 of them knew very well what had happened .
it was soon about to be sunset as they were now on a cliff watching the sky slowly turn orange with the majestic sun retiring from the sky . when it was dark , they decided to bid farewell to the princess .
" i had so much fun today , thank you for coming ." she hugged every one of them and it lasted longer with prince Min Hyung . " you should hold a ceremony from next year on . i'm sure the neighbouring kingdoms would love to meet you ." prince Dong Hyuck had said and she was sure to do one next year .
she returned to her room and thought it was a fulfilling birthday she never had before as she drifted to sleep almost immediately .
