" just now , when your head was spinning . what did you see ? i know i'm not the only one who saw things the other day ." he looked at her with a soft expression , he put her hair behind her ears before speaking , " we got pierced by a sword ."
" was it a black and gold looking scabbard ?" he nodded . " i'll go over and talk to Ro Woon for awhile" she got up to leave but he held her arm back . " can you stay ?"
" i promise , i'll be back soon . get more rest , i'm sure your brothers would arrive soon ." he wished she didn't since he was hoping to spend some time with her . he hoped his brothers had got the telepathy and went on to sleep .
she sat down in front of Ro Woon just like she did earlier on and had began to ask him some questions . " i hope you can be honest with me . i know father bribed you , there's no way someone like you would do it because i remember you , big brother" upon the mention of 'big brother' , he looked up and his eyes were visibly sparkling but they were tears .
when the memory came back , she didn't just see the unfortunate event . she saw them since childhood and they were just like any other kids until one day they got separated because of their cruel father who longed for power .
the princess had instructed the guard to release him but Ro Woon sat there , drowning himself in tears and unable to look at her in the eyes . she bent down and hugged him , instantly bursted into tears . "please don't go anywhere else , brother" though it was a little inaudible , he nodded . it was a few minutes after when they decided to leave the dungeons .
"your old room is still here , never knew it actually but i'll see you later" she let go of his hand and at the same time , prince Min Hyung had come out from her room and saw them talking while they touched . he did feel some way but walked over putting his arms on her shoulders . " what's he doing here ?"
Ro Woon gave a small laugh before the princess continued , " i've decided to have him by my side for awhile" the prince was dumbfounded and was slightly angry . " you can't do that , he almost killed you !" it had scared the princess as he sounded firm and he had slightly yelled . "he got bribed and i know my people , second chances are always given . i'm sorry if i sound selfish but i hope you understand." he looked at her and sighed before nodding and they walked to her room . she put her hand behind her back and waved secretly at her brother and he smiled at his sister whom he had missed the most .
" why did you leave the room ? you look very pale and your fever hasn't subside yet." she felt his forehead and it was still warm . " you took a very long time to come , of course i had to find you" her face had turned red and she shook her head . when she turned back , the tension had risen as their faces were close to one another yet again .
the prince looked down to her natural pink lips and back up to make eye contact . she gulped and stayed at where she was , maintaining the eye contact with her heartbeat accelerating beyond what she could handle . he got closer to her and as their lips brushed , "MIN HYUNGGGG- oh"
they quickly moved away from each other and prince Chen Le froze with his hands in the air as the atmosphere had became awkward . " o-oh hey , you guys are here . i'm going to just...go and give you guys some privacy" she ran out of the room before she could embarrass herself .
she barged into her assistants' room and shut the door tight as she tried calming herself down . the two lady were dazed looking at her and was surprised when she plopped herself on their bed . "are you alright?" Ivy poked her and she looked up with a glazed look and dropped her face back down . " i just experienced the most embarrassing occasion one could ever imagine" she groaned into the bed and the two lady silently laughed at her .
" were you two about to kiss ?" Min Jung asked and the princess turned around to look up at the ceiling . she pouted and nodded as the two were teasing her . "keep this a secret or you'll die" she said when she left the room and they bursted out laughing .
the princess had then arrived to her brother's room and looked in before knocking . " hello ?" she whispered as her brother peeked from his office that was connected to his bedroom . "hey" he greeted and she stepped in .
"looks like he still cares for you just like how he did" she smiled but inside , she still had so many lingering thoughts and questions to ask . "were we in love?" it was the first questions she asked and he shook his head while grinning . " 'course you were , it was so hard to bring both of you apart no matter how bad Father threatened you both . apparently you were supposed to marry prince Hyung Sik but you had ran away with prince Min Hyung . Father was enraged of course , had me go after you" they walked down the hallways .
" must've been hard for you..." she looked up and held his arm . " it's alright , it's a relief you are fine . i think i would've never forgive myself if i lost you" she wiped his tears , " alright now , i'm alive and well aren't i? you're a literal child !" they cracked up loudly .
meanwhile , the 7 princes had made their way out to find for the princess and saw the two in the hallways laughing . " who's that ?" prince Ren Jun furrowed his brows and had given a glare . " he almost killed the prince-"
" and she's still laughing with him ? is she nuts ?" prince Jeno had sounded anxious but also a little angry . "second chances" prince Min Hyung had given an answer so short as he had not understood her sudden change of heart . they were even about to kiss earlier !
prince Ji Sung cleared the throat and got the attention of the two . " we'll be taking our leave , princess . it's generous of you to offer accommodation to our brother ." Ro Woon nodded and she walked over to the princes . " you are all always welcome . do visit again ." she gave a hug to each of them except for prince Min Hyung because he had just walked away . she stood there , baffled at his behaviour .
" guess he hasn't changed even after all these times . he's jealous , don't worry" Ro Woon looked at the worried sister and ruffled her hair .
