a week had passed and it was prince Chen Le's birthday ceremony . it had almost became a thing where the Neo Dream Kingdom princes and the North Kingdom princess had met on such frequent basis and they were as joyful as ever . they gave each other a warm hug though princesses from the other kingdoms had given her a death glare but she had stared at them with her powerful resting face which had intimidated some .
when the 7 princes had taken their seats on the throne , the princess had let both Ivy and Min Jung walk around the hall for fun . " make sure you don't cause any trouble , okay ?" both of them nodded then quickly went off on their own . the princess had made her way to the back of the hall to avoid getting seen by others as she wasn't used to the attention .
" would you like a drink , your highness ?" a gentleman had approached the princess who looked lonely and decided to offer the drink . she gave a small smile and took it before he introduced himself . " i'm prince Hyung Sik from silla kingdom . a pleasure to meet you , princess Hae Won ." they bowed to each other and took a sip of the cocktail .
meanwhile , the 7 princes had gotten to step off from the stage and one was looking for the princess but had his attention somewhere else as someone had decided to strike a conversation with him . when he excused himself , the lady kept on begging him to stay and held his arms to the point he couldn't move away from that burdensome position .
at the same time , the princess was drugged unknowingly and her vision was blurred as well as her mind . the prince took the chance to bring her into a secluded hallway where he was sure no one could find them . " who are you...what are you doing ?" she took the energy to shout it out loud even though she wasn't sure where she was .
when the ill intended prince was about to remove a piece of her clothing , someone had came right on time to kicked him away . " what the hell do you think you're doing ?!" his voice was booming in the hallways and had everyone came rushing and looking at the scene . the wrathful prince Jeno had almost beaten the other prince to death if it wasn't for his brothers who pulled him away .
the princess was holding her head as she groaned though she still wasn't fully sober . prince Min Hyung's face had turned serious when he saw her on the ground with her collarbone showing and he took his blazer off to cover her and had her sent to his room .
meanwhile prince Jeno grabbed prince Hyung Sik for him to confess what he had done . " she bribed me to do it. with gold ." he scoffed and had the guts to chuckle , making prince Jeno grab him tighter , "shut the hell up"
prince Jae Min had glared at the woman and grabbed her as she looked familiar . she was the one who was preventing prince Min Hyung from going elsewhere .
" from today onwards , prince Hyung Sik and princess Mi Joo are banned from entering neo kingdom as well as the north." the oldest prince came from his room and announced it to the whole group of people which whispers and gasps emerged from . the ceremony was called off short as prince Min Hyung had apologised to the birthday boy .
" don't apologise , brother . i would've called it off myself too . get back to her , i'll deal with these two ." he said as the older one nodded . " we're so sorry , your highness . we shouldn't have left princess Hae Won's side at all ." Ivy and Min Jung had came a little late but he dismissed them as he walked back to his room .
he took a look at the princess who had fell asleep and sighed as he summoned for them to get her a change of clothes . there weren't any lady wear that was in this castle so he decided to pick out his silk nightwear for her to change into .
it was hours later as the princess woke up , groaning as she could feel her headache . she opened her eyes and felt a warm object on her hand which was prince Min Hyung's hands . ' i must've been drugged earlier on , oh my goodness' she recalled and decided to wake the prince up .
" you should take a rest on your own bed , prince Min Hyung . i'm so sorry to have disturbe-" she took a glance at her sudden change of wear and she gasped while having her hands cover herself . he laughed , " don't worry , i had Ivy and Min Jung change your wear . you were almost involved in something unpleasant but thank god , Jeno had jumped in early enough ."
he had brought her over to prince Jeno's room . his door was wide open and seemed to be in deep thoughts as she knocked on the door . he turned around and gave her a warm smile , telling her to come in . " are you feeling better ?" she nodded .
" i heard what you did earlier on , i'm forever indebted to you ."
" everyone else would have acted the same if they were in that situation . i do hope you would stick close to either one of us instead of going off on your own ." she smiled and nodded before taking her leave .
