21- In a relationship

My heart beats so fast and yet so calmly now that something is defined between us. I love staying near him and I'm more than excited to see him again in his office for the meeting. Sheen has been blabbering about stuffs that seemed like murmurs to my ears, he's been lecturing me until we got there and reminding me about things which I cannot remember whatever those are about but I'm pretty sure they give no relevance for today's agenda. Pagkapasok ko pa lang ay nabigyan na agad ako ng coffee, with a note slid at the back. Hindi siya BDO but he finds ways.

He's so much of a flirt.

Sheen looked at my cup and eyed me then back at the cup "Good morning to you too, Captain." as if he was talking to Rumzuell. At oo, wala siyang alam kung ano man ang nangyari kagabi. We're both early because alam niyo na, etiquette. Sa sobrang early namin ay on the way pa daw ang iba. This isn't a huge meeting but a really important one. Inside the board room, I assessed some calls from the site in La Union to check how they were doing and I'm glad to know that they were going with the process smoothly.

Asan na ba yung boss nila dito bakit wala din dito sa room? Nakakaloka ha.

"Cat, san tayo maglulunch?" he asked, tapping on his phone. Naghahanap na naman ng masasarap na kakainan sa malapit.

"Anong tayo? Mag-isa kang maglulunch, Sheen." tiningnan ko siya nang masama.

"Init ng ulo. Nagbreakfast ka na naman ulit ng selos?" sabi niya. Napangiti naman ako unti-unti when everything that happened last night flashed at the back of my mind. Kung alam mo lang, Sheen, I won't be eating jealousy or anything heart breaking for breakfast or lunch—not anymore! Then Rumzuell walked into the room with his assistant and the rest. Halos mapunit na ang labi ko kakangiti before we started the meeting formally. It went smoothly, everything was evaluated from the major things to the extra attachments siyempre dahil panelling concept ang napili dito. Personally, I didn't have any problems with it because it felt like I was making my own house and because I knew what was nicer to choose without any conflict. Siyempre, ang galing din ng Architect ko eh.

We dismissed and there was only little time left before lunch.

"Cataleuna, ano nga? San nga tayo for lunch?" Sheen bugged again as he arranged my things. Rumzuell heard the conversation, I looked at him as he looked at me "I'm sorry, I'm not available for lunch. Just go without me."

"Hala kalmado siya, okay ka lang b—Ay! Oo nga, you are not available for lunch. I'll go ahead, may lakad pa tayo ha." he must have realized who's with us kaya his emotions shifted. Nagpaalam na siyang mauna habang kami na lang dalawa naiwan sa conference room. Out of nowhere, he had a long stemmed flower and gave it to me. He's got me for himself because we're alone now in this huge room and I don't mind at all. Nakakatunaw ang titig niya at ang ganda ng bulaklak na binigay niya. He sat down beside me, masama ata ang loob dahil sa pagkakahalukipkip niya habang nakaupo.

"May lakad pala kayo nagpaiwan ka pa." there was a little bit of negativity in his voice. I smiled to lift him up "Is it wrong to go out with you? Sheen understands."

He gave me a small smile.

Nakakaloka, ang pogi niya today.

"Gusto mo akong umalis na lang? It's okay with me too. Lagi-lagi ayaw mo ko dito sa opisina mo ha, baka may iba ka pa besides Celine?" I'm trying to tease him but his mood didn't change at all. Ang seloso parin kahit kami na, iba talaga panama ni Sheen sa kaniya—baka plot twist ha, sila ang magkatuluyan. He pouted as he looked at me "How could I ever?"

"Di ko sure, bago pa lang tayo eh. We'll see." Biro ko ulit pero hindi ata funny para sa kaniya.

Umismid lang siya.
