Greis and Rum (COMPLETED)

20- Conceded

I checked out the rest of the kitchen to see how I can assess it together with Sheen Ortigas, Rumzuell said that he'll choose the Architect to make sure everything goes well and doesn't care if he pays triple just to get him. Knowing Sheen, he's available for those who need his service. I'm glad to know that he is organized and back on track. We literally looked like two couples inside the same room and under the same roof, the atmosphere was more than awkward than I could ever imagine.

"Ang tahimik mo naman diyan, Greis." Sheen commented, obviously trying to tease me by using the name Rum picked for me. I creased my forehead, giving him a warning "He wants everything to be panelled para malinis. I think it's nice. About the counter top though, what would you want to use for it?" I looked at Rum who was sitting across the room, accompanying his 'friend' who slept here. Sinasabi ko sa inyo, may kababalaghang binabalak yan si Celine.

"Ikaw bahala, kung ano gusto mo." He gave me a smile. Wow bahay ko? Anyway, I'm thinking since he likes Greece so much so why not pair it up with what we did to his condo? I heard soft chuckles from behind me, tangina ng kasama ko oh. But my smile didn't fade away with what Sheen did, except for the next sheens—ay scenes pala.

"Is my opinion valid?" hindi, baket?

"Go ahead." Sheen told Celine. Hearing her makes my head ache, she wants a lot of details na magcoconflict sa original panelled plan na gusto ni Rum. I know I'm not the one who's going to compromise but I just don't like how firm she stands in this battlefield eh wala naman siyang alam. I tried explaining but she kept on insisting, suggesting ideas that are complex and senseless "We're not leaving anything out. Kasi Rum wants it clean so I'm afraid we can't apply that nor comprise yours with the original." I was being discreet baka masabi ko bigla na walang kwenta ang pinagsasabi niya at pwedeng tumahimik na lang siya habang kumakain.

"Lalim ng iniisip, mare ah." Sheen popped my bubble after the discussion back there. We're both at the garden, thinking how to put it all together by quick sketches.

I crossed my arms "Does jealousy have to be this uncomfortable?" I whispered.

But I guess his ears that loves to gossip heard it.

"Ngayon alam mo na ang na-feel ko nung hindi na ako ang kasa-kasama mo. Hindi lang kita sinagot, may iba ka na agad na nahanap. Hindi mo naman pala talaga ako mahal." here we go again with his pretend sentiments. Ewan ko ba kung bakit nagtagal siya sa Architecture eh parang Theatre acting naman talaga ang forte niya, pwede rin Drama script writer sa sobrang husay gumawa-gawa ng istorya. Feeling masyadong! "Ang arte mo. Nakakairita." I told him with my eyes squinting in disgust.

He covered his mouth as he laughed "I understand where the steam is coming from. But who's jealous? Who admitted she's jealous?"

"Are you even hearing yourself? Ang swerte niya naman na gusto ko siya?"

"Hindi naman."

Hala, tangina, can I disown this friend of mine? Ang sama ng ugali. Hindi ba swerte si Rumzuell sakin kung in love ako sa kaniya—pag nagkataon? Ang ganda ko kaya, matalino, matapang, mayaman, independent. Or maybe I am too independent? Or too maganda? Or just too much?

"Ano?" I reacted as I reflected.

"Hindi mo siya gusto kasi mahal mo siya! That's what I meant, you don't let me finish my sentences kasi." He was laughing as he said that. Duda parin ako. Sabi niya ulit na dumiretso kami sa office niya at sabay na kami doon after he finished sketching. I agreed. What's left for me to actually do here? Hassle yun sa kaniya na ihatid ako at bumalik ulit dito. Isa pa, he needs to entertain his 'friend'. We headed back inside to say goodbye, they were busy as well doing some shits I don't bother wasting some braincells in analyzing. Kung anong kalandian na naman siguro ni Celine yun at ang pagpapadala ni Rum sa mga scheme niya.
