As sensitive as he still felt, Zyair remained still with a grimace as Junta sniffed his neck. Being one out of a few Kappas in the group, he knew Junta's senses were heightened like any other Molton. Raj's as well, hence how he was able to find Zyair. All Kappas within Junta's group had Zyair's scent down cold. He knew he could never escape them.

Junta's hand grazed down his chest, forcing Zyair to shiver and smirked. Mekhi remained by the entrance patiently waiting. His scent was undoubtedly on Zyair now, but he had no idea if they could smell the true events.

As Junta stood up straight, he appeared satisfied. He simply gestured for Zyair's dismissal before he joined Mekhi's side. They left the main Ultome building, calmly attempting to make their way out of their territory.

"Where are your humans?" Zyair questioned as he looked around.

"They're coming. I called for them once we left the room."

"Right.....um, I'm not really good at saying thank you."

"For letting you rail me? You don't need to be so modest. I should have suspected you'd be rough."

"Sorry. Are they gonna ask you about the marks?" Zyair questioned and Mekhi smirked.

They came to a halt before Mekhi lifted up his shirt. The bite marks and hickeys Zyair left were fading. In under a minute, they were completely gone. Zyair's gaze met his once more.

"You're self-healing. Of course you're self-healing, you're an Ultome. There's only a few hours until dawn and we're on the other side of the region. You guys should find a place to hide out for the night before we go to the castle."

"We're out of patience and finding Kit tonight. Besides, our ride is already here."

Zyair flinched when he heard screaming in the distance. Two horses poked up the hill before he witnessed a large carriage follow behind. Pulling up in front of the two, Mekhi found Nikaelis and Alex holding the ropes to the horses.

"You damn Ultomes! Give me back my carriage!"

"Unless you two got sticks up your asses, I suggest you get in," Jack called as Mekhi and Zyair hopped in, letting him close the door behind them.

"Did you just steal a carriage?" Zyair asked in disbelief as the other boys laughed.

"Is that what this thing is? It would have been a hell of a lot more easier to steal a car," Jack said.

"Hey Zy! These guys are fun, we should keep them around!" Nikaelis called from out the window.

Zyair simply stared at the lot in front of them. The situations he had been placed in and only two hours of the night were gone. He agreed he was having fun as well, but was also terrified. They were a whole new group of Nicks, consistently in trouble. Though unlike him, they were never caught.

He looked to Mekhi to find him wearing the sunglasses. Even after Zyair told him glowing eyes were normal in Markvere, he still appeared wary of them. He then caught the kid gazing at the others. You want to look normal in front of them.

Mekhi wanted to seem more human than magical in their eyes. But from Zyair's perspective, the humans were not afraid of magic, nor were they afraid of him. They all followed him to dangerous territory to help Zyair and patiently waited for them in order to escape together. The six of them were nothing like any human he had ever heard of. Although Zyair had never displayed his powers in front of the rest of them, he felt they would also see him as normal as they were.

"How are we going so fast?" Mekhi questioned once they were half way across the region.

"Nick has this little trick he calls enhancement," Cori chirped. "He can maximize the strength, speed, or power of anything he touches. That's why we currently have super horses pulling us."
