I hear my phone go off and I pick it off of the table.
"hello?" I say.
"hey Lauren what are u doing?" mack says into the phone.
"sitting next to hayes eating his cereal." I say and grab Hayes's spoon eating his cereal. "I wanted that cereal!" he says so me. I hand him back the spoon and he continues eating.
"so what did u want?" I asked mack.
"nick cheated on me. sammy is really helping me out right now I just wanted to tell u." she said.
sammy? why sammy? she knows I dated sammy before! does she think I have a thing for taylor so she's trying to make me jealous by trying to get to sammy? I honestly don't care.

"ok well I hope you feel better." I say and hang up.

"who was that?" hayes asks me. "mack." I say. "Laurennn what's wrong now?" he says and hugs me. I hug back and say, "I think mack thinks I have a thing for taylor, but I don't. she is trying to get back at me by going to sammy." "aww I'm sorry Lauren. just ignore her and have fun." he says and kisses my cheek. "love you bff." I say and he says, "love you too."

"why are you wearing nashs merch and not mine." hayes says and pouts. "I don't have a sweatshirt of yours!" I say. "I'll give you one later." he says and I nod.

"I feel bad for mack that nick cheated on her." I say to hayes putting on my vans. (second outfit now) "ya she doesn't deserve that." hayes says. "we should go beat him up." I say and he nods. "wait are you actually serious?" he says and I nod. "no one can treat my friend like that." I say and finish changing.

we had taylor drive us to the carnival which is where mack said nick would be. hayes and I found nick where they were selling drinks and we went up to him. "why did you cheat on mack? you can't just do that!" I screamed at him. "oh hey Lauren you look hot." he says looking at my body. "stop looking at me like that." I say. "you have a hot body you know that right." he says coming closer to me. "can you like leave me alone?" I say but he still keeps coming closer to me. "no can do sweetheart." he says and wraps his arms around me. he was about to kiss me when I scream, "HAYES HELP!!" hayes was getting food. he dropped the food and ran to me when he heard me scream. "please get off me." I say and he doesn't listen. he kisses my neck once but then hayes grabs him off of me and shoves him on the ground. "you already hurt Mackenzie's feeling but you can NOT try to get to my bestfriend." he said and punch him in the face.

nick laid on the ground holding his nose. hayes got up and ran to me. "Lauren oh my god I shouldn't have left you alone are you okay?!" hayes said examining me. "yea hayes I'm fine." I said in a whisper. "Lauren your okay now." he said said and wrapped me in a big hug. I was shaking because I was so scared. "Lauren it's ok your safe with me now." he said and I nodded while a tear ran down my cheek. he pulled away and saw I was crying so wiped my tears away. "it's gonna be ok." he whispered to me and I nodded.

he picked me up and carried me back to where taylor was waiting. "woah Lauren you ok?" taylor asked and hayes gave him the look that says dont ask about it. hayes laid me down in the back seat and sat down next to me. I put my head on his shoulder and he kissed the top of my head. "your gonna be alright." he whispered in my ear.

after we got back hayes dropped me down on gilinskys bed because I slept there last night. I told him I needed to be alone for about an hour and he listened. I thought about what happened today when I heard my name. I rolled over on my other side and saw cameron standing there. "hey cam." I said. "hey Lauren what's wrong." he said and I stood up so I was standing in front of him. I explained everything that happened and he listened very carefully. "Lauren I'm so sorry." he said and hugged me tight. "it's ok now." I said and he looked into my eyes. he started to lean in and so did I. we kissed. cameron and I just kissed. this can't be happening right now. I don't want to be rude and pull away so I went with it. he wouldn't stop so I just went with it. he finally pulled away and smiled at me. I smiled back and he left. *btw cam is 17 so only two years older then Lauren*

"hayes I'm sleeping with you tonight since its your birthday tomorrow." I said and he smiled and nodded. I changed into the clothes I had in the morning and he did too. (first outfit) we got in bed and hayes wrapped his arms around my waist. "I'm so sorry for everything that happened today." he whispered in my ear. "it's fine, I'm just so glad you were there to help me." I said and kissed his cheek. he blushed and smiled. "goodnight hayes. love you bff." I said. "night Lauren. love you too." he said.
