•chapter 24•

I woke up the next morning laying on the couch next to hayes. His arms were around me and everyone else was laying on the floor.

I looked down to see if i still had my clothes from last night on. No, I didn't. I'll ask the boys who changed me because I don't remember changing myself.

I grabbed my phone of the table and checked my messages. One was from mackenzie that said:
My boyfriend is here! wanna come meet him?!

I responded back with a yes and put my phone back down. I heard someone waking up so I looked around and it was taylor. I decided I would look like I was still sleeping so when he got up I could scare him.

when he was walking to the little kitchen we had, I got up silently and made my way towards him. when I was really close to him, I jumped on his back and he screamed. after I jumped off laughing he turned around and said, "Lauren! why did you do that?" in his morning voice. "because I wanted to duh!" i said and went to get an orange.

"oh and also can you drive me to the mall, mackenzie wants me to meet her new boyfriend." i said peeling the Orange. "ya sure I want to meet this guy anyway." he said while making pancakes for everyone. that's the rule of you wake up first, you have the make breakfast. I made sure that I wouldn't make breakfast today though.

"do you think she's trying to make me jealous?" taylor said and I looked up. "yea it's obvious." I said. "okay, I'll try to make her jealous then." he said and smirked at. "no, I'm not pretending to be your girlfriend." I said. "please." he said making a pouty face. "umm, still no." I said and went to go throw away my trash. "ok, fine." he said and groaned.

I walked to the couch to wake up hayes. "hayes wake up your coming to the mall with me!" I said in his ear. "why are you going to the mall again?" he mumbled in his morning voice. "because mackenzie wants me to meet her boyfriend." I said and be groaned and got up.

**in car ride**

I was wearing a black and white hayes grier crop top and blue shorts, with a taylor caniff beanie.

"Lauren I like your outfit, especially the beanie." taylor said from the drivers seat. "you made me wear the beanie." I said giving him the straight face. "okay whatever." he said focusing on the road.

**at the mall**

taylor parked the car and we all went inside. after we found mackenzie I ran to her and hugged her. "hey guys!" she said when she saw me and hayes. her smile fades when she saw taylor. "oh hi taylor." she said. he just waved.

"Lauren text me when you want me to pick you guys up." taylor said and kissed my cheek. umm. I gave him the weirdest look and he walked away. "what was that for?!" I screamed at him but he just made a heart with his hands.

"so Lauren and hayes, this is nick." mackenzie said pointing a nick. "hi!" I said and waved and so did hayes. "so are you and that guy taylor dating?" nick asked me. "oh God no!" I said. "ya she's mine." hayes said and pulled me into his chest. "no I'm not." I said and pushed him away. "I'll just take that ring back then." he said being serious. "no I love it!!" I said holding the hand that had the ring on it.

"what ring?" mackenzie asked. "the ring hayes got for me for my birthday!" I said and showed her. "oooo I love it!" she said.

after we all talked for awhile and got something to eat we went into a couple of stores, the first one was vans. "oh hayes it's your birthday in 3 days what do you want?" I asked him. "umm I don't know anything really." he said. "well pick something out because I'm getting it for you right now." I said getting out money. "no Lauren, it's not my birthday yet." he said. "yes hayes, this ring was so much money so I'm gonna spend a lot of money on you too." I said and smiled. "aww, thanks bff." he said and went to go look at the shirts.

I ended up buying hayes a pair of dark blue vans and a shirt. also I got a pair of Galaxy vans. mackenzie had to go home with nick so I texted taylor. "okay let's hang soon!" Mackenzie said and hugged me. "okay I'll text you!" I said and walked to the car.
