•chapter 4•

"so everyone's sleeping over right?" Nash asked everyone. everyone nodded their heads in agreement. "Lauren I didn't think you were coming so I don't know where you can sleep." Nash added.

"oh it's fine I can just sleep with the jacks or something. I'll figure it out." I told him. "no! don't sleep with us!" jack j said. "yes." I said and shot him a death glare.

"I think we should all head to bed it's getting late." Jacob said. "yea jacks let's go." I said. we all got up and headed to our rooms. on our way there hayes said, "Lauren be ready by 9:30." and winked. "aww you guys going on a date?" carter winked at us.

"maybe." Hayes answered quietly. "I'll be ready." I answered Hayes and walked into the room the jacks are staying in. they were shirtless in the bed but it was big so I didn't care. I climbed in the bed where there was space which was in the middle. "so you and Hayes?" jack j said. "were just going on one date it's no big deal." I said. "oh it's a big deal," jack g said. "he's gonna wanna go on many more after that." "good I would love it go on them." I said. "we would probably rather be here with me." jack g said and winked. "in your dreams." I said.

we watched a couple movies and then turned off the tv. I grabbed my phone to check to time. I screen read 1:46 am. "aww you have us as your background?" jack j said. "yea but it will be changed tomorrow." I told them and they pouted. I turned my phone off and put it back on the bed side table. "good night Lauren, goodnight jack!" jack j said hugging me. then jack g joined the hug. "okay I've had enough." I told them and pushed them off. I tried going to sleep but I couldn't, it was too hot. I was sleeping in the middle which made it even worse, there was no way to put my legs out! "okay I can't do this anymore!" I said and got out of the bed. "where are you going?" the boys asked. "to find another place to sleep where it's not hot. and your legs are like really hairy! it's disgusting!" I told them. "sorry not sorry." jack g said and went back to sleep. I grabbed my phone off the bed side table and headed to find another room.

I opened one room to see Jacob and mahogany. aww they were so cute together! I closed that door and opened another, it was taylor and carter. nope! I closed that door and walked to the next. I opened it to see Hayes on his phone and the tv on mute. he turned to look at who it was. "oh hey Lauren!" he said when he saw me. "hey Hayes" I said. "what you still doing up?" he asked. "I couldn't sleep, it was to hot in there with the jacks. maybe could I sleep in here?" I asked. "yea defiantly!" he said and I saw a smile on his face. "I can just sleep on the floor and you can sleep in my bed if you want." he added. "no it's okay we can both sleep in the bed, I won't do anything. promise." I said giggling. "okay then." he said and scooted over so I could have room. I put my phone on the table beside his bed and got into the bed. "oh is it alright if I sleep like this?" he asked. I looked down to see that he was shirtless. I didn't notice it before. "yea it's fine." I said. he turned off the tv and put his phone on the table too. "goodnight Hayes!" I said. "goodnight Lauren." he said and put his arm around me.

••morning••

I woke up to the sound of the iPhone cameras. I wiggled out of Hayes's grip and turned around to see all the boys taking pictures on their phones! "what are you doing?!" I yelled. "taking pictures of you and Hayes, duh." taylor said. "why?!" I asked him. "because you guys are so cute!" he said and handed me his phone. it was open to Instagram and he posted a picture of me and Hayes sleeping with his arms around me and my face buried into his chest. it also had the caption: these 2 love birds sleeping together! ❤️😍 "ugh!" I groaned and gave back his phone. by that time Hayes was up and he asked, "what's wrong?" he didn't have his eyes open yet so he couldn't see the boys in our room. "open your eyes." I told him and he did. "oh hey guys why are you here?" he said. "they were taking pictures of us while we were sleeping." I told him. taylor showed him the picture on Instagram and Hayes smiled, then gave back his phone. I went downstairs to get some breakfast. there were pancakes downstairs and Jacob and mahogany were already down there. "who made the pancakes?" I asked them while grabbing two from the pile. "I did." Jacob said. "aw thanks jakey." I said. "I told you not to call me that." he said. "I know." I said and smiled. "did you see the picture that taylor posted of you and Hayes?" mahogany said. "yup!" I said and tried to act happy about it.

after I was done with my food I went upstairs to change in The jacks room. "get out I'm gonna change." I told them. "no! change in the bathroom." jack j said. I walked into the bathroom and changed into a neon yellow tank top with ripped up jeans and mint blue vans. after I was done I put on mascara and straightened my hair. I came out of the bathroom and went downstairs to see hayes ready. "ready?" he asked me. "yup!" I said taking my bag from the chair.

"I hope it's okay if we walk." he asked me on our way to Starbucks. "yup it's perfectly fine." I said and smiled at him. "you look really nice." he said and connected our hands together. "thanks you look nice too." I said. he was wearing jeans with a nice blue button up shirt. "thanks." he said and smiled.

when we got there, there was no line so we walked right up to order. "I'll have a vanilla bean frappe please." Hayes said politely. "I'll have a double chocolate chip frappe." I told the man. "okay the will be $4.50." he told us. I took out my money but Hayes stopped me. "I'm paying." he said and I didn't argue. we got our drinks and sat down. "how come you don't make vines or YouTube videos like your brother?" I asked him. "well Nash wants that to be his thing so I just play football, you should come to one of my games!" he said cheerfully. "i would love to." I said. "do you play any sports?" he asked me. "yea I swim year around. you should come to one of my swim meets!" I said copying him. "I would love to." he said copying me and laughing. the rest of the time we talked about random things to get to know each other better.

when we got home we walked to the front steps and I was about to open the door but Hayes stopped me. "I had a really nice time." he said. "me too thanks for taking me out." I said. "no problem, I would love to do it again." he said. "me too!" I said. after that he kissed my cheek!

we walked inside and and saw everyone in the living room watching a movie which looked like divergent. I saw a new face, I think it might have been Taylor's girlfriend. "we are home!" Hayes screams even though they are right there. I just realized that we were still holding hands but I didn't let go. "how was the date?" jack g said. "great!" I said smiling at Hayes. "good I thought Hayes wouldn't be able to pull it off!" Nash said. "hey!" Hayes said and went to go sit with cam and Nash. I went to go introduce myself to the girl who I thought was Taylor's girlfriend. "hi I'm Lauren." I said. "hey I'm Mackenzie, Taylor's girlfriend." she said. "that's what I thought. maybe would could hang out sometime!" I said. "yea that would be so fun!" she said. I walked over to the jacks and sat in between them. it was a great start to a great day! well except for the part where they were taking pictures of me.
