•chapter 31•

I woke up and was laying next to hayes on the couch. I grabbed my phone off the table in front of us and checked the messages. I actually only had one which was from the one of the two people I didn't want to talk too, mack. if your trying to think of the other person, it's sammy. I checked the message and it said:

hey, I have a feeling that your mad at me. meet me at the cafe at 10?

well no duh I'm mad at her. well I'm guessing she would be there alone but she might also bring sammy. I guess I'll bring one of the boys just in case she brings sammy. I looked around to see which of the boys were all asleep and they were all asleep except matt who was on his phone.

I got up trying not to wake up hayes and walked over to matt. "hey matty." i said and he looked at me and smiled. I sat down next to him and said, "can you come with me to see mack today?" "yea sure! when do we have to go?" he said and started to get up.

I checked the time and it was 9:30 right now. "in like 15 minutes! so hurry up and get ready." i said and he jumped up and ran. I laughed and went to my suitcase to get clothes. I found one of my matt shirts and put in on because I was going with him. I got out my white shorts and pink vans and put those on also. I put on a little mascara and went to see if matt was ready.

"want to ride penny boards there?" he said putting on his vans. "yea sure but I'm not very good at riding." I said and grabbed my penny board. "it's ok I'll help you." he said and I smiled. "ok let's go were probably gonna be late." i said and he nodded.

"matt! I'm gonna fall!" I said laughing. "don't worry I won't let you fall!" he said and grabbed my waist. I put my arms up like in the titanic and we both laughed. "OH MY GOD ITS MATT AND LAUREN!" I heard someone scream and we both got surprised so we both fell off. the fan and her friend came over to us. I'm guessing her friend was a guy because she was yelling at him to hurry up.

I sat up and looked and the girl and her friend starring at us. "you ok Lauren?" matt said and helped me up. "yea I'm fine." I said. "can I please get a picture with you guys?" she asked and we nodded. she got in the middle and us and we all smiled while her friend took the picture. after we were done the girl and her friend left and matt and I ran to the cafe.

•in cafe•

"hey Lauren!" mack said and hugged me. I stood there not hugging back and said, "hi mack." oh and guess who was there, of course Sammy. sammy came up to me and said, "hi Lauren." "hi sam." i said back and he hugged me. "haven't seen you in a while." he said and I didn't hug back. "well I kind of see you everyday." i said back and he blushed of embarrassment.

matt and I sat on one side of the table and sammy and mack sat on the other side. mack was staring at me and I noticed but pretended not to and looked at my frap. "I have to go to the bathroom, lauren can u come with me." mack said and I nodded.

we got to the bathroom and she stood outside the door. "don't you have to go to the bathroom?" I asked her. "you know I don't actually have to go to the bathroom. why are you mad at me?" she asked and I looked up at her. "do you think I have a thing with taylor?" I asked her. she looked down and nodded. "mack! I don't! that day at the mall when he kissed me on the cheek I have no idea why he did that, he was jealous of you moving on and he didn't." I said and looked down while she thought about what I just said. "then why did he pick you out of all the other girls?" she asked.

"what do you mean pick me?" I asked. "Like why did he pick you to kiss on the cheek and act like he liked you when he had all the other girls he could pick from." she said. "how would I know that? maybe because he knows we are really good friends. or maybe now were." I said and walked away.

"matt can we go." I said and tear ran down my cheek. "yea sure lets go." he said and wrapped his arm around me.

matt called the bus early and they were already outside when we got outside. I opened the big door and ran inside. I ran to where the beds were when I ran into someone and almost fell. I looked up and luckily it was jack g. "Lauren what's wrong?" jack asked me and bent down to my level to wipe my tears away.

"just lost one of my bestfriends I think." I whispered. "mack?" he said and I nodded. jack g and jack j always helped me when I got in a fight or lost one of my bestfriends which was a lot. "johnson!" jack g screamed and jack j came running in with no shirt and his eyes half way closed like he just woke up. "what?" he said and then he saw me. he came up to me and hugged me and I hugged back.

they both lead me to the couch where no one else was. they laid me down with my head on gilinskys lap and my feet on johnsons. I wiped more tears away and started to feel better. they both always sang a song they made for me when I'm sad and they started singing it right now. I listened and sniffled then closed my eyes.

after they sang me my favorite song they put on hunger games catching fire which I haven't watched in a while and we all watched it together.

after it was done I felt so much better thanks to them. "thanks so much guys." I said and smiled. "no problem wanted to make our bestfriend feel better." johnson said and they both hugged me.

••night that day••

"ok Lauren so us guys were thinking about something and we wanted to know what you thought about it." nash said and I nodded. "we all think we should just ditch this road trip thing and go to LA and like all get a really big house there we can all share." shawn said and all the other boys nodded.

"well, start packing."
