•chapter 16•

Tears kept on coming down my face as I ran. I used my shirt to wipe up the tears when I stopped and sat on the curb.

I knew one of the boys and jake would come and try to find me so I just stopped and gave up.

I checked my phone to see a bunch of texts from jake, hayes, and nash. I checked jakes first:

lauren please come back! I'm so worried about you!

Nash's text:

lauren, hayes is so sorry please come back he is so upset!

Hayes's text:

Lauren I'm so sorry.

I didn't answer any because I saw nash in his car with hayes coming. I really didn't want to talk to hayes right now so my plan was to ignore him.

when they pulled up hayes said, "lauren! there you are! im so sorry!" I ignored him and got in the car. "Lauren please talk to me!" hayes said. I ignored him. "please I know your giving me the silent treatment." he said. he started climbing over the seat so he could sit next to me and not in the front. "please Lauren." he said looking at me.

I couldn't take it. "hayes! how would you feel if one of your best friends just called you a slut?! you hurt me so bad so can you please just leave me alone?" I screamed at him.

he looked like he was about to cry and turned to face the window. through the mirror next to nash I could see I fear slip down his cheek. I felt guilty for screaming at him like that but he deserved it!

I saw the makeup smears on my shirt so I would have to change. when nash pulled up I said, "I'm gonna go change my clothes." he nodded. hayes was still crying but he wiped away his tears so I couldn't see him.

I walked into the lobby and saw jake pacing around looking nervous. when he saw me he ran up to me and picked me up. "Lauren your back! I missed you, I was so worried." he told me and I smiled. he kissed me and I kissed back.

when he put me down I said, "I'm gonna go change. you can stay here." I said and he nodded. I saw jake walk away to go see cam and carter. hayes was watching him and looked mad and sad at the same time.

I went upstairs and changed into my new outfit

(I'm to lazy to describe it so its in the picture!)

after i was done I went back downstairs to see everyone. they were all waiting for me to start the show. "you look good!" jake said when he saw me. I laughed and said, "thanks." "hope you have fun in your show! I'll be back here watching!" he said and walked backstage.

when my name was called I went up on the stage.

hopefully this show will be fun.
