I woke up and opened my eyes. Hayes was already asleep and starring at me. "why are you starring at me?" I asked him. "I was bored." he said and stopped starring. "wanna go to breakfast with Maddy and I?" he asked. "sure can I invite someone?" I asked him. "sure who?" he said. "jake, I met him on the plane." I said and started to get out of bed. "oh so that's his name." he said. "yup that's his name!" I told him. "didn't we see him at the meet and greet?" Hayes said. "yea we did!" I said and went to text jake. this is what I said:

hey! wanna come to breakfast with Hayes, Hayes's friend, and I?☺️

he answered about 2 minutes later and said sure. I texted him that we will be there in 30 minutes and where we were going. after I gave him all the information I got ready.

I changed into a white sweater with light blue jean shorts and black converse. I kept my hair natural, wavy. I put on some mascara and eos Chapstick. I also added some bath and body works perfume.

after I was done I came out of the bathroom and saw Hayes putting on cologne and looking at himself in the mirror. I saw my beanie on the counter and decided to put it on. Hayes saw me and turned around. "you look nice." he said. "thanks you too." I said and grabbed my purse.

Hayes told me that Maddy was meeting us there too. "oh cool!" I said and got in the taxi that was taking us.

**skip car ride**

when we got there Hayes and I split the amount of money and I paid.

we started walking toward the cafe where we were eating. I spotted jake and ran toward him. he stood up and opened his arms. I jumped in his arms and he held me up. I got down quickly and said, "hey!" "hey! I missed you!" he said back. "missed you too." I said and smiled. I looked what he was wearing. a dark blue button down with black khakis and dark red vans. he also had a beanie on like me. "hey we are twinning with the beanie!" I told him. "oh yea we have to get a picture later!" he told me and I nodded.

I then realized Hayes was standing there. "oh Hayes! this is jake, jake this is Hayes." I told him then smiled. "hey nice to meet you!" jake said and stuck his hand out for Hayes to shake. "hey." Hayes just said and quickly shook his hand rudely. we turned around but I turned my head around too give Hayes a confused look. he just looked away. "sorry about Hayes being so rude." I told jake. "it's fine he might just be jealous." he said with a smirk and I giggled. i turned around again to ask hayes something. "Hayes where's Maddy?" I asked him. "she's pulling in right now." he told me and went to get her.

a minute later he came back with a girl who was wearing a really short crop top and really short shorts. she was chewing gum and looking on her phone. "Maddy this is Lauren and jake, Lauren and jake this is Maddy." Hayes said. "hi!" i said and stuck my hand out for her to shake. "hi." she said while chewing her gum and not looking up from her phone. I quickly dropped my hand and sighed.

when we got inside the restaurant the hostess took us to our table and said that the waiter will be right with us. I sat down next to jake and across from Maddy. Hayes was across from jake. "so what are you gonna get?" jake asked me. "probably pancakes." I told him and picked up the menu. "yea same." he told me. the waiter came and he sounded so familiar. I looked up to see garret! the guy that I met at the meet and greet! "hey garret!" I said. "oh hey Lauren!" he said hugging me. "so I'll be taking your order today." he said smiling. "I'll have the plain pancakes with milk please." I told him. "I'll get the same." jake said. "I'll have the French toast with chocolate milk." Hayes said and Maddy got the same.

I mostly talked to jake the whole time that we were there. Maddy didn't look up from her phone for a whole minute so I felt kinda bad for Hayes.

after we were done eating jake said,"guys wanna go to the amusement park right down the road?" "yea!" i said and Hayes and Maddy agreed.

garret came again with the check and I took it first. "haha quick as lightening!" I said and everyone laughed. "sorry but I have to steal that from you." jake said and took the check from me. "hey! I wanna pay!" I told him. "sorry but I'm paying." he said a smirked at me. "ugh fine." I said and pouted. "don't be sad you should be happy that you aren't spending your money!" he said. "well I wanna put some money into it!" I said. "sorry but no." he said and poked my cheek. I giggled and started to get up from the table.

we decided to walk to the amusement park. I held jakes hand on the way there. when we were walking across the boardwalk jake said, "hey Lauren isn't this your favorite song?" he said. I listened closely and heard, somebody to you by the vamps. "yea it is!" I said and starting singing. I also danced and I made jake dance too but he didn't want too.

after the song was done I was panting. "why is your friend so weird and ugly, I can't believe you dated her!" I heard Maddy say. I turned around and looked at Hayes. he sighed and didn't say anything. "Lauren don't listen to her, your not weird and your beautiful." jake said and kissed my cheek. I blushed and smiled. "thanks." I said.

"can you give me a piggy back ride? I'm tired of walking." I told him whining. "sure!" he said. I hopped on his back and he held my legs. "am I too heavy for you." I whispered in his ear. "no Lauren your as light as a feather!" he told me and I smiled. he started spinning in circles and I giggled.

he stopped and we finally got there. this was gonna be fun!
