my face turned bright red and I looked away.

"hayes are you sure you would want to do that? you don't have to if you don't want to. it's ok." i said looking at him after my face wasn't looking like a tomato anymore.

"lauren I wouldn't have suggested it if I wasn't sure. it's ok if it's just to show mack that you aren't jealous or upset." he said and I nodded.

I actually was a little jealous but it's ok I can get over it. i thought about kissing hayes just to show mack. I mean if it's only to show mack I don't really care.

"sure." i said.

**hayes pov**

I think I'm actually gonna kiss Lauren. on my birthday. best birthday gift ever!!! since she said yes I moved closer to her since we were far apart. "your sure you want to do this?" I asked her and she nodded. "you sure you want to do this? it's ok you don't have to." she asked me. "ya I'm fine with it, it probably won't mean anything anyway." I said.

she nodded her head and made sure if mack was looking. she was too busy kissing sammy but we both thought some of the boys would make noise so she would look.

Lauren nodded once again and closed her eyes. I leaned in and connected our lips. it was just like the first time we kissed, sparks flew. I know it sounds cheesy and everyone says that but I don't care. best birthday present ever!!

we waited until we heard all the boys cheering and Lauren knew mack was looking. she pulled away and smiled, then looked away. I saw her look at mack to see if she looked mad and mack did look mad. I guess she figured out she was wrong about Lauren and taylor. well that was the best birthday present ever.

**lauren pov**

ok well that just happened. I think mack is mad that she didn't make me jealous. I needed to show her that I didn't have a thing with taylor.

••back at bus••

"guys lets get ice cream." I screamed to them after I changed into another outfit.

they all agreed and we drove to a ice cream place.

I went to where all the boys usually sit and they all changed out of their party clothes and into regular clothes. the only bad part of it was sammy and mack were there. I guess she is still my friend but I don't really like her right now.

"ok guys were here!" we heard aaron shout. everyone got up and we went into the shop.

we all got in line and we let hayes go first since it's his birthday and I got in line behind him. he got vanilla with sprinkles and I got chocolate with sprinkles. we sat down at our own table and I saw nash wink at me. I shook my head and turned to face hayes. I started eating my ice cream and all the boys were done before I was done with mine.

"you guys are fast eaters." I said and they nodded. I threw my cup away and walked to the bus with them. I changed into my pajamas and went to sit on the couch with hayes.

he had also changed. "you think the kiss worked?" I asked him and he nodded. "hey Lauren." he said looking at me. "yea?" I said and looked back at him. "thanks for trying to make it the best ever, it worked." he said and I blushed. he leaned in and kissed my cheek. "I'll have your birthday present for you tomorrow." I said and he nodded.

after watching his favorite movie again, we decided to go to sleep. "good night bff love you." I said. "night, love you too." he said.
