•chapter 6•

I woke up to Hayes shaking me and I was in Hayes's bed. "Lauren wake up!" he whispered in my ear. "yes Hayes?" I asked him. "I have to leave for my football game soon do you want to come?" he asked me. "yea of course I want to come!" I told him and got out of the bead and went to go get ready. "what time is it?" I asked him. "almost 11:30! hurry up!" "11:30! already?" I said while picking out me clothes. "yea we got home late and you were tired. also remember to bring a rain jacket it's supposed to rain." he said putting his jersey on.

after I picked out my clothes I went into the bathroom to change. I heard a knock on the door before I changed,"Lauren?" I heard Hayes say. "yea Hayes?" I said opening the door. he was holding an extra jersey but a smaller size, that had, Grier, on the back. "um I was wondering if you could wear this today?" he asked holding the jersey up. "oh course Hayes!" I said and took the jersey. I closed the door then changed into the jersey and some leggings and boots. I decided i would just bring an umbrella because I wanted people to see the jersey. I braided my hair to the side and put on some mascara.

when I got out I saw Hayes waiting for me. "so do you like it." I said twirling so he could see the back. "I love it!" he said smiling big and coming over to kiss me. he connected our lips but it was soon ended my the sound of the door being open. "come on lovebirds we are all leaving." Nash said.

cam, Nash, Hayes, and I went in cams car and the rest went in another car. "so Lauren is that Hayes's jersey." Nash asked me. "yea!" I said smiling.

when we got their Hayes was about to go to his team but I stopped him. "good luck!" I said. "thanks babe." he said and kissed my lips.

I then went up to sit between jack and jack. it started to rain a little bit. I took out my umbrella and put it over my head.

the game started and I saw two guys walking toward us. "hey sammy!" jack and jack said. "hey Dillon!" taylor said to the other guy.

the guy who's name was sammy walked toward us. "hey guys." he told jack and jack and gave the bro handshake which I never understood. "who's this?" sammy asked them pointing to me. "this is one of our bestfriends Lauren." jack j said. "I'm your bestest bestfriend." I told jack. "okay whatever." he said and sammy laughed. "hi I'm Lauren!" I told sammy and stood up to hug him. "hey." he said. we sat back down and I sat next to sammy and jack g. "sammy is starting at our school on Monday." jack g told me. "oh cool! you can be apart of our "cool posse"! I said laughing and put air quotes around cool posse. "I would love to!" he told me and smiled which brought out his dimples. "I like your dimples." I said poking at his cheek. "thanks cutie." he told me and I blushed.

I started to watch the game again and the other team was winning by one. Hayes's teammate threw him the ball and he caught it then ran it to the end zone! he got a touchdown! "YAY!" I screamed and everyone laughed at me. all the team ran to Hayes and jumped on him. after they got off him Hayes waved to me. I smiled and waved back.

the guy named Dillon came walking toward us. jack, jack, and sammy had an annoyed face on and didn't say anything to him. "hey cutie. what's your name?" he said to me. "umm....Lauren" I said and bit my bottom lip. "sammy scoot over so I can sit next to her." Dillon said. sammy was about to scoot over but I said,"no! I want to sit next to sammy." and hugged him. he hugged back and smiled. "fine I'll stand." Dillon said. "so Lauren maybe we can be best bestfriends?" Dillon said. "sorry that's for jack and jack." I told him. "bestfriends?" he said. "nope that's for sammy and Jacob." I said still hugging sammy. "friends?" he asked. "sorry that's for Mackenzie, taylor, Cameron, mahogany, Nash, matt, carter, Shawn and Aaron." I told him. "more then friends?" he said and winked at me. "I'm Hayes's girlfriend, and if you haven't noticed yet I really don't want to talk to you because you seem like a jerk, so you can just go back and sit with taylor." I said and gave him a mean look. "I'm gonna make your life horrible." he said and walked away. "wow I haven't ever seen anyone who stood up to Dillon before!" sammy said. "well you haven't met me yet because I can." I said smiling.

there was one minute left in the game and it was tied! another one of Hayes's teammates passed Hayes the ball and he ran down the field. people tried to knock him down but he dodged them. he made it all the way down the field! they got a touchdown! they won! the horn went off signaling that the game was over.

"wow they never win!" jack j says. I ran down the bleachers and make my ways to the field. I open the gate to the field and run to Hayes. I jump into his arms and kiss him passionately. it was my dream to have a passionate kiss in the rain! after the kiss ended Hayes let me down. "good job!!" I told him smiling. "your my good luck charm!" he told me and hugged me. "no offense but you smell really bad." I said giggling. "you would probably smell the same if you were playing a foot ball game!" he said smiling. "so Hayes this your girlfriend?" one of Hayes's teammates asked. "yes Ryan it is." he told him. "well you should keep her, she's a cutie." he said winking at me. "I've heard that a lot today." I mumbled. "by who?" Hayes asked me. "sammy, but he's my friend now it's okay, and Dillon he's a jerk." I told him. "yup he is." Hayes said and put his arm around me. then we went back to see all the others.
