Tears stream down my face as I look at her body lying on the cold hard floor. Blood streaming from her stomach. "Clean this mess up" he says calmly as if he just asked me to go to the store and buy some apples. And with that he left no sign of regret, sadness or anything. I pick up her lifeless body and lay her gently on the bed giving her a soft kiss on the head tears still running down my face. How could someone so sweet, kind and amazing just lose her life to some jerk? What has he done?! Does her realize her just took someones life, daughter and friend?! I kick the small wooden table in frustration. When I see some slight movement in the corner of my eye.
Serenity starts breathing heavily crying. "Yo-Your alive!" I say happily. I run over to her and try my best to bandage her up with some loose duvet I found (A.N. Duvet is another word for cover on a bed) "R-Robert? What happened?" she asks confusion plastered all over her face. I explain everything that happened to her, clear warm tears flowing down face.
After a couple of hours of helping her calm down I look over at the locked closet 'whats in there?' I ask myself. Suddenly I hear soft small snores. I look over and notice Serenity sleeping peacefully. Gently I get up careful not to wake her up. I look around trying to find something to open up the old locked closet. As I put my hand behind the small table waving it around like a flag blowing on a windy day. I touch something cold and rusty. I pull it out making sure not to stab myself with it. Once its out I realize what it was. A old rustic nail. Perfect my dad taught me how to open locks with nails, hair clips and even penny's. He always taught me stuff like that. Thinking about my dad just brought tears to my eyes knowing that I may not see him again. I slowly walk over to the cabinet and start to unlock it. As i open it I see something that horrified me
