The New Girl

I started to look around but there was nothing only a blanket and rocks of course. Its like this creep is obsessed with rocks and slamming people into them. The blanket has obviously been used before. Its old and torn up so it wouldn't really help keep me warm. Isn't he thoughtful.

There was a window like the last room I was thrown in. He really likes the dark. The thing about this window is that this window has thiner bars than the other window. The thing is that I still couldn't fit through them. But I could see outside. It looked like we were in a forest. There were trees everywhere, grass and twigs. We were underground because the grass seemed to be covering some of my view.

Behind me I could hear the cage door creaking open I turn around with a jolt. Our kidnapper had another kid this time it was a girl she seemed to be my age. Her eyes were red it looked like she had been crying. And who can blame her. Ill admit it she was pretty she had blonde hair and emerald green eyes the seemed to be sparkling from her tears. Her blonde hair was falling perfectly over her face and down her shoulders. Her hair came to about her stomach but it wasn't to long.

"Now listen here boy. This is going to be your new cell mate." After he said that he threw her. I caught her in my arms. "Play nice!" he said to me and walked away locking the creaking cage door behind him. "Are you ok?" I ask her. She just shook her head no. I sat down with her. She sat across from me. "Im Robert" I held out my hand to shake it "Im Serenity" She replied and shook my hand "Thats a pretty name" I told her with a smile that made her smile. She had a beautiful smile. "Thanks most people think its a strange name." she said and looked away "Nah they just dint know a beautiful name when they hear one" She looked back at me with her emerald eyes and giggled. "Thanks Robert your really know how to cheer up someone when their sad" she told me "No problem". I responded with a smile

After a couple of minutes it starts to get dark and when it gets dark it gets cold. I could see in the corner in my eye that Serenity was shivering. I didn't like seeing her shiver from the cold. And that blanket wasn't going to help. Do to all the holes in it. So I took off my jacket and put it around her shoulders. She looked at me confused but then she got what I was doing. "You don't need to give me your jacket. What if you get cold." She looked at me worryingly "I don't really care I can take the cold." I told her with a smile. To be honest I cant stand the cold. I get cold really easily but really I will do anything to make sure shes okay. "No I can tell that your already cold you have goosebumps." she said pointing to my bare arm. I looked down and saw that I had thousands of goosebumps, and they were sticking out. "No really I'm fine" I say with a embarrassed laugh. "No I cant let you freeze." she said "Fine but I cant let you freeze" I said making the 'you' sound bigger "so why don't we share the jacket" I continue "Ok" she replies. So I take the arm of my jacket it didn't quite fit around both of our shoulders so I put my arm around her shoulders. Weird I know but it had to fit both of us somehow and she didn't seem to mind so why not. At some point I seen Serenity falling asleep so I placed her head on my shoulder and leant against the back wall. "goodnight sweet Serenity" I whisper and kissed the top of her head as I felt myself falling asleep.
