Help - (Completed)

My past

I ran over to Serenity helping her up trying not to hurt her. But sadly I failed she whimpered a little bit but she was fine after. Quickly I got the key underneath the mat. I was there just like the hanging girl said. Slowly I check outside through a little hole in the wall I discovers earlier. No one. Quickly I place the key inside the lock praying that it will fit thankfully it did.

Slowly Robert opens up the old wooden door. Creaking as he did so. They tip toes down the hall trying to make as little sound as possible. The noise they made sounded like little mice running across the hard wood floor which was normal. They got to some wooden steps and slowly creep-ed down like preys making their way to their victims. Robert checked to see if he was there, luckily he wasn't. Robert quickly grabbed Serenity's hand and ran down the stairs trying not to fall down. Once they got to the bottom of the steps they started to run for the door that lead to the basement. "Down there is where the door is" Robert said "I heard him go outside from down there" he continued pointing towards the wooden door that looked like it had been opened recently. "OK lets go" Serenity replied worried that he may come back at any moment. They ran through the unlocked door and down the stairs as fast as their legs could carry them. They looked around the basement checking ti see if that monster had any other kids down there. Robert walked with Serenity, his hand wrapped tightly around her waist as if he was scared she was going to run away. But she would never run away from him.

Once they were sure there was no one else left down there they quickly ran to the door and opened it. They ran away happy to escape that psycho place. But their happiness was soon gone when they heard a car pull up. They both turn their heads to see a white van pull into the drive way in front of them. Robert grabbed Serenity's hand pulling her into a nearby bush hiding them from the evil man that had just pulled into the drive way. He started to walk towords them but turned to the door and opened."I could have sworn I locked this door" He says to himself. But he shrugged his shoulders and enterd the old house the door slowlt creaking behind him. They let out a sigh of relief and started running towords the path in the woods.

After hours of running it started to get dark so they found a place comfortable enough to sleep on. They set up a fire for light and warmth. "So tell me a little about your family" Robert said trying to break the silence between them. "Umm well my mother is a very caring woman she took care of me when I needed her most and vise versa. My past was always rough." She said "How so?" Robert asks "Well my father was always very abusive. Every night he would always come home drunk off his head and stated yelling at my mother for no reason. He called her worthless and started to hit her. He was always physical whenever he was drunk. But one night it was the worst he was ever. He came home drunk as usual started calling my mother terrible names and hitting her worse than usual. He hit her so hard she fell down I noticed the blood running down her face so I knew I had to step in. So I jumped in front of my mother who was curled up in a ball in the corner. He told me to get out of his way but I wouldn't move. So he picked me up and through me across the room and left saying that he would be back. I quickly grabbed my mom, packed up and we left. We ran away caught a plane to London lived there for a while with my aunt and then once we were ready to get back on our feet we left and moved here." She finishes her eyes sparkling from both the bonfire and tears. "I-I'm so sorry" Was all Robert managed to get out "Why are you apologizing its not your fault" She says starting to laugh a little "Ya I know....How about we go to bed now. We got to get some sleep we have a long day a head of us." Robert said starting to lay down "Yeah good night Robert" Serenity said closing her eyes "Goodnight Serenity" Robert said and they both fell into a peaceful sleep.

A/N: WOW over 300 reads!! Thank you all for reading this book!! I was listening to sad music while writing this. Not a good idea. So they finally escaped!! I'm not sure if I should make a sequel to this or not. Please comment if you want me to!! Please comment and vote!! Lover you all!!
