The journal

Im guessing that by "Weve got a big day ahead" he meant that he was going to make us do all his laundry, clean his apartment and make sure that all my blood is out of the bed sheets and you would think that we would put that with the cloths no he said that we had to scrub by hand. I go up to the so called room that me and Serenity used. All it really had was two beds and a small table with a lamp and a drawer. I decided to open the drawer and see if there was anything to help us escape. "Are you gonna open it or what" I hear a soft sweet voice snapping me out of my thoughts. Serenity. Can she seriously read my mind?

"Oh hey you scared me" I say with a small smile "sorry...now come on he'll be up any minute!" She says rushing me but not in a mean way. "yeah" I say she walks over to me. I slowly start pulling out the creaking dark wood. Me and Serenity look inside at the same time there was only a small brown book inside. "A book?" I question "Not just any book" she says with a small smile planting on her face "A journal" she continues "Its a journal what's the big deal?" I question. I didn't mean to be rude to her I just really didn't know why she was getting really excited about. "We can probably find out what he wants with us" she exclaims "Yeah so let's read it!" I say starting to get excited. We can also use it for evidence when the police finds this jerk. Because I know my family is looking for me and won't stop until they find me.

Today I'm going to go and find a young girl. it's been ages since my last one, Hope, she was beautiful but always crying. So it was to lime to let her go. My way. I'm hoping to find another girl with blonde hair like Hope. I guess that's kind of what I want a blonde haired girl. But in the end I know that the same thing will happen to the next girl as what happens to Hope.

I look up at Serenity. Her eyes are wide and her once beautiful emerald green eyes are now a dark green. Her skin is as pale as a ghost, her mouth hung open. And her body was lifeless. Now I know that we have to get out of here fast. For my family, her family and most of all for Serenity.
