The light

Some part of me just wanted to run and not stop but I knew that I couldn't leave Jess. I remembered what Jess had said
earlier. That our kidnapper had mom and dad so I knew I couldn't just leave them either. In case you haven't noticed I made a nick name for him already weird I know but it suits him "our kidnapper".

In the distance i could see something. to normal people right now they probably wouldnt care but for me it was like seeing my favourite baseball player right in front of me, it was a small light. As any other person in the dark I started to walk to it. Honestly for that moment I forgot about Jess. Mean I know but I needed to see what this is. And honestly i was doing her a favour because what if it was a trap. What if she died and I escaped because of one little mistake I made. I would never live with myself. Shes to young to stop living or breathing. She has so much to live for heck she still has her whole life a head of her.

As I continued to walk slowly to the glowing light it became bigger and bigger and bigger. As I was just a couple seconds away from it I noticed what it was. A lamp. i grabbed it and started running to Jess but something stopped me. One minute I'm running like i've never ran before the next i'm slammed against the hard rock wall.

Once again I wake up and everything was pitch black. Seriously it wouldn't kill this guy to put up some lamps like I had saw earlier. Where is that lamp anyways. He took it. I mentally slap myself knowing that if I really did my body wouldn't be able to handle it because of my hard hit of the rock wall a couple of minutes ago.

Thankfully I wasn't tied up this time. But where was I? This definitely is not the same room as Jess and I was in a couple hours ago.

This room was much smaller and it had a hole so I could see outside. Escape I know thats what your thinking but the problem is that there was thick bars blocking me from freedom. And the only thing in this room is me and a pile of rocks. I assume that he dug it a little bigger. How generous.

I was probably in there for about 10 minutes until I heard footsteps. Then the door swung open and a large man with a dirty stubble for a beard and ripped and dirty clothes on. He looks as if he had been living down here for ages.

He started to walk towards me and I started to back away. But he grabbed onto my jacket and stood me up.

"Where's my parents?" I asked him, now I was almost crying. His response was nothing I expected he slammed me to the rock wall and left without saying a word.

That's when I realized that we needed to get out of here. Fast.
