Your the reason for my smile

"Come on you worthless kids lets get going!" Our kidnapper yells at us making Serenity jump at the unexpected shout. Her green eyes have gone from a beautiful bright emerald to a darker green that sparkle from tears. 

I can see that Our kidnapper is starting to get irritated so he grabs me and Serenity be the arm and pulls us out of the room. As we continue to walk I notice that there is a light starting to emerge. It wasn't a lamp or a flashlight is was freedom or outside for people that aren't in my situation. I start to see trees and the ground and the beautiful blue sky barley any clouds in it. I look over to mt left and see serenity with a little smile on her face, but there were tears to knowing that this possibly may be the last time she see's the outside world for a while..... or forever.

Our kidnapper then hands us to the other person that he has been talking to. He then puts us into the back of his van and starts to drive away. I look out the back window and see the cave that we were once in start to slowly get smaller as we drive off. That's when reality hit me like a truck. Where was my parents and my sister? I'm just hoping that my sister doesn't get Stockholm syndrome from this (AN: for those of you that don't know what Stockholm syndrome is its a thing that makes you start to get attached to your kidnapper because he or she is the one feeding you and keeping you alive even though he or she could possibly kill you in the end. 

I look over at Serenity she has tears in her eyes but threes something else in her eyes....Fear. I seriously feel bad for her even though I am in the same situation. "Hey how are you doing?" I ask her trying to calm her. "Fine I guess, I just never thought this would happen to me. One minute i'm out living my normal life the next I'm in a dark cave with another kid." She says tears now flowing down her face. " I know i'm sorry" I tell her "There's no need to be sorry its not your fault. really I should be thanking you." she says with a small smile on her face. Her smile was absolutely breath taking. "Why should you be thanking me?"  I ask. "Because your the one comforting me and helping me....Thank you Robert." She says to me with a bigger smile then before. I mirror her actions and smile back. Even though we are kidnapped I can still smile and it's because of Serenity and only Serenity.
