"Heeseung?!"

I didn't expect to see him inside the house, my house. He nervously chuckled. "Hi, I guess." He waved while he was still under me. I quickly got up from him, not thinking about helping him up and apologizing. "What is he doing here?" I confusedly looked at Youngbin who was helping Heeseung up. "I invited him over. Were you eavesdropping?" He put his hands on his hips while angrily staring into my eyes. "I-I-I-" I started to stutter. I could never get away with anything if Youngbin starts to eye me like that. He was a completely different person when he's angry. "I didn't mean to. I was trying to go into my room when I heard some voices in your room. I was going to knock when the door suddenly opened." I almost teared up while stumbling up my words. Heeseung anxiously looked over at Youngbin, whose expression was back to normal. "Oh, I didn't know. It's okay. Come here." He smiled pitifully at me and hugged me when he noticed I was scared of him. Heeseung continued to watch the whole thing with confusion in his eyes.

When I walked back down the living room, Heeseung and Youngbin were already talking and laughing with the three other guys. "She really takes after you." Sunoo smiled brightly. "I'm not a crybaby anymore so it's okay." Youngbin replied and chuckled. "Hey! Don't act like you don't cry over sad animations and such." I yelled from behind them, catching their attentions. He rolled his eyes and stood up from his seat. "I'll go prepare some food. You better study well in return." "If it tastes good." I spoke and he snickered before walking away from us. "Why does your brother have to be so handsome?" Sunoo started complaining, as always. "Because he was born with it?" I shrugged and sat beside him. "Now let's start-" "Would you like to join, Heeseung?"

Sunoo suddenly asked, making him directly fix his eyes on him. "I don't know..." He trailed off, looking down at the books spread out on the table. "I'm not really that great at studies." "Pfft...me too. At least I'm sure you can help us with some questions." Sunoo got up from his seat and grabbed him by his wrist, pulling him to our side. "I'm worried I would be the worst among you guys." "I doubt that. See Sunghoon there, he comes to school two to three days a week and he always has to leave earlier than us to 'practice'. He barely has time to study so practically, he barely passes the tests and exams. I'm assuming the teachers are promoting him because of his visuals, or they're a big fan of his." He pointed to Jake. "I don't have any idea how that guy can be bad in his studies. He is the most obedient student out of all students in the school. Maybe he daydreams too much? Gazing off into space? Who knows?" He pointed at himself. "I hang out and chat with friends too much. That's the excuse for my low marks."

I was nonchalantly browsing one of the books when Heeseung spoke. "What about Youngjae?" I looked at him and Sunoo. "She...is like me and Jake. Plus, she despises studying a lot." Heeseung chuckled and muttered. "Same." "But I still adore her a lot." Sunoo finished his sentence and hugged me tightly. "Can we start already?" I sighed. "Of course." "I haven't informed my mom yet." Sunghoon got up and dashed outside. "I told you to start without me, why didn't you?" "Sunoo didn't want to." Jake responded and I turned to look at him, just to meet his eyes. We smiled at each other and I turned my focus back on the book. "Help." "Already?" I looked at Sunoo's book. "Hey~ that's not the way." "You're not correct either." Heeseung interrupted. I looked up at him. "Then what is the correct way?" "I remember solving this last year." He mumbled. "Last year? Your memory must be great." "Ah, well, I suppose?"

I sat beside Jake. "Do you have any questions, mister?" "Not really. Why?" I sighed in frustration. "Heeseung knows all the answers. So there's no use for me to be there to explain it to Sunoo. He smiled and patted my head. "I'm done with my homework." "Are you serious?" "Aren't you?" "No." I mumbled, pouting a bit. "I was focusing more on Sunoo but..." "Don't get all sulky now. I'll help you finish it." He took my right hand and patted it gently, making me smile. The sound of the door being opened and shut caught our attention, making me pull my hand away from Jake quickly. He pouted at me when Sunghoon walked in the room. "Well that lasted longer than I expected." Sunghoon chuckled, sitting beside Jake and staring at me. "I thought you'd be helping Sunoo." "Jake finished it earlier than us so I thought it'd be better if he helped me." "Really? Well count me in. I didn't get a single thing today." He spoke frustratingly, messing up his hair with both hands.

"Thank goodness you didn't throw it around inside the room like before." Youngbin sighed in relief as he saw us peacefully chewing on the food he had served us several minutes ago. Heeseung followed from behind with his hands on his pockets. "Jay isn't here, that's why." I said. "It was obvious that you were the one who started it but never mind. I'll be out for a while to walk Heeseung home." "Can't you two just date-" "I'll see you later. And Youngjae, clean up everything when you're done." "See you later Heeseung!" Sunoo shouted before Youngbin dashed out from the house with Heeseung following him from behind. I sighed. "Rock, Paper, Scissors. The loser will have to help me clean." The three guys groaned, annoyed. "Not again~" Jake ended up losing, which I knew he did on purpose.

"Lee Heeseung." I muttered, catching Jake's attention. "What about him?" "He is just so annoying. I don't...hate him but, his presence annoys me." I faced him with a frown on my face. He simply smiled. "You think that he's stealing away Sunoo from you, don't you?" "Yes! If I don't see Sunoo five times a week, my life won't be all rainbows and unicorns. Plus, the way he proceeds to do things on his own way, I'm irritated by it." "You sound like your brother, I'm not going to lie." He chuckled, making me mad. "Hey! I ain't anything like my bro-" He planted a kiss on my left cheek and pulled away, smiling sheepishly. I was burning up because of how mad and flattered I was at the same time. "W-Who in the world told you to do that?!"

Heeseung kept his eyes on Youngjae the whole time he explained things to Sunoo. He found it cute to see her irritated and annoyed face. "That didn't make any sense, or I'm just too dumb to understand it. Can you repeat?" ... "Heeseung?" "Huh?" "I want you to explain it again. If you don't mind." "Oh, sure." He blankly started saying out the words as his eyes were fixed on Youngjae, who was now sitting beside Jake. He stopped midway when he saw the interactions between the two. He quickly looked back at Sunoo before he got caught. "Excuse me, I got lost in the middle." "It's alright. I understand it now." So they're actually together. Does her brother know about this, or any of them in here?

Heeseung and Sunghoon walked in the kitchen at the same time to get a cup of water. "Are you doing well?" Heeseung spoke up first, as he knew that he was older and was "in charge" of making sure the younger ones were progressing. "Oh, yeah. I'm catching up. What about Sunoo?" "He gets it after two or three times of explaining. He's doing better than I expected." "I thought you said you were not good in studies." Sunghoon chuckled, making Heeseung shrug. "It just came back when I saw the questions. I wasn't that great back then though. I just noticed that I got low marks because I was being careless." Sunghoon sighed. "You do notice that you're getting on Youngjae's nerves, right?" "I've heard that from her brother. Yeah. It's just amusing to see her annoyed." Heeseung smiled hesitantly. "Well, I'm not in the position to say this but..." He took a deep breath before looking at the older boy with a serious gaze.

"I'm not sure if you're saying you like Youngjae or not but Jake and Youngjae are discreetly dating behind everyone's back. So far, I'm the only one who knows about it and they don't know about it. Now that makes two of us. What I'm trying to tell you is, don't try to get in between them, and don't spill this to anyone, not even a single soul. I don't want my best friend to feel down, nor her girlfriend. Got it?" Heeseung scoffed in his head. "I could notice it. And don't worry. I won't tell anyone." Sunghoon's eyes softened at his response. "Well, then that's good." He walked out from the kitchen, leaving Heeseung with his thoughts.

Sunghoon always had to be the one to see Jake and Youngjae acting like a real couple.
