He intently stared into my eyes after I gave him my answer. He finally looked away and released a sigh as he brushed back his hair with his hand.

“Then who?”

My eyes widened at his sudden question. I didn't have time to think. All I could do was spit out the first name that came into my mind, which was, of course; the worst thing to do.

“Heeseung.”

He looked at me in confusion.

“Lee Heeseung?”

I gazed down at the floor, rethinking my decisions.

“Why— Why him?”

“He's a lot more mature than you two. And he clearly won't make a fuss about this like you right now.”

“Are you indirectly telling me that I'm immature?”

I hesitated to say another word.

“Whose side are you even on—”

“It doesn't matter whose side I'm on. Never ask such stupid questions ever again.” I snickered.

After giving him a last glare, I stomped out from there.

I could see that some students had gathered around the area and were quietly eavesdropping the whole time, which made me even madder.

I was ready to throw my fist at anyone I laid my eyes onto again. Everyone steered clear after seeing me harshly pushing away one of them to make my way out from there.

I headed towards my classroom when a familiar figure stood in front of me, causing me to halt.

“Youngbin?”

“This has really to stop, Lee Youngjae.”

What a day. I sighed as I put my head down on the table. Everything happened like lightning. I didn't even remember most of the things that happened that day.

I closed my eyes, trying to rest while I had the time during detention. I exactly knew what was gonna happen to me.

I would be brought to a specialist and I would have to go through special classes again until I learned how to calm my wrath again. Since dad was back and free for a whole week, they would probably take me somewhere calming that weekend.

I slowly drifted off to sleep as I reminisced the past.

“I'm sorry,” I hung my head low after stepping out from the school building.

Youngbin shook his head and decided to not speak a word while our parents were there.

“It was pretty unexpected for you to act like that again. But the fact that you had to hurt someone so innocent like Jake surprises me the most,” dad spoke up.

“I'm sorry,” I sighed after having to repeat myself again.

“Didn't you say Jake and Sunghoon also got into a fight?” Mom turned to Youngbin.

“It wasn't that bad, so there's nothing to worry about. I didn't have the chance to know the reason why they started it though,” he glanced at me.

Dad exhaled, “Well, they gave you a few days to reflect on your actions until you fully recover from it so I think it's best if you went back to the special sessions.”

I nodded as I accepted my fate. Mom slightly pouted at me.

“You seem okay at the moment though. This wouldn't have to happen if you weren't going out with Jake.”

Dad flinched and turned to her, “Seriously?”

“It's obvious,” she sighed, “this might be the end of their relationship though.”

“Gosh, I wish I knew it earlier so that I could tease them about it.”

Mom lightly nudged him before we continued to walk in silence. I felt extremely gloomy and stressed.

“It's...good to see you again, Youngjae,” she forced herself to bring up a gentle smile after seeing me.

We both knew that making my appearance there again wasn't such a good thing but we decided to act like it wasn't a big of a deal.

“How have you been?” She started.

“Seriously?” I looked into her eyes with no respect and she instantly gave me a death stare.

I breathed out, “I've been better.”

She brought up her smile once again, “Things can be tough at times, I don't blame you. Let's just hang in there for a moment and do our best today, okay?”

I simply nodded before she led me into a familiar room. I really hated the scent of that place but it eventually calmed me down and cleared my head for a brief moment. This won't take long, right?

“I feel like Sunoo's avoiding me,” I sighed as I immediately plopped down on the couch when I reached home.

“Did you meet him on your way back?” Mom asked.

“No, it's still school hours. He's attending class right now.”

“Well then why do you feel like he's avoiding you?” She asked nonchalantly.

“I don't know. I texted him and asked if he'd lend me his notebook next week. He normally asks me what and how I'm doing after he says 'yes' but he didn't say anything else besides 'of course' today,” I slightly pursed my lips while looking down at my phone.

“You probably texted him in the middle of class, don't worry too much about it, honey. You know how Sunoo is,” she reassured.

I suddenly got a message from an unknown number, asking how I was holding up. I blinked in confusion before politely asking who it was.

The two boys glanced at each other before Jay spoke up out of frustration, “Alright, I'm so done with this. You both should apologize, right now.”

Sunghoon looked out the window with no expression, the bandage on his cheek reflecting the sunlight a little.

Jake released a tired sigh, “I'm sorry for hitting you.”

Sunghoon slowly turned to him before looking at the empty seat where Youngjae normally sat.

“I have no reason to apologize to him.”

Jay groaned, “Just apologize for being discreet about your feelings before I make you buy another bandage.”

“Fine. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you how I truly felt about Youngjae earlier,” Sunghoon rolled his eyes.

“Now shake your hands,” Jay demanded.

They both looked at him in sync.

“Just do it, damn it.”

They snickered before reluctantly shaking their hands with each other.

“I honestly do not care about the two of you dating anymore, she likes Heeseung better anyway,” Sunghoon grumbled.

“What did you just say?” Jake tilted his head.

“Don't expect her to feel the same about you when she clearly saw you hitting her best friend,” he spoke while furiously pointing at the bandage.

“Don't be a baby and stop whining about your small injury, it's not even visible,” Jay scoffed before turning to Jake, “You okay buddy?”

The latter gulped and shook his head, “I'm scared if it's really Heeseung...”
