I was about to move away because I got creeped out by his actions but he was quicker. He lightly bit onto the mark, I was gonna scream from the pain when he covered my mouth with his hand. I felt him starting to bite harder, making me feel his two upper canines sink into my skin. My eyes widened when I felt my blood flow in a particular path, that was up to my shoulder where he was biting. My feet started getting cold, so were the tips of my fingers. All the blood my heart was pumping out got transferred to my upper body only. He slowly released his hand from my mouth when he noticed I didn't have the strength to do anything. He pulled back and held onto both my shoulders as he stared into my eyes. His eyes were devilishly yellow for a few seconds before they went back to their neutral colour. “You're good to go now.”

He turned me towards the mirror, showing me my revealed shoulder. The mark was no longer there. I suddenly exclaimed at it and covered my mouth. He didn't have any expression written on his face as I was freaking out. I tried asking him what he had done but I couldn't even form a single sentence. “It doesn't hurt, does it?” He asked and I stared at him, still awestruck by the outcome. I shook my head as I held onto my shoulder and grasped it tightly. The pain was certainly gone, so did the mark. “That's good, then. See you later.” He spoke and turned to leave the room. What is he?! What did he do?! What kind of ability does he have to cure my pain like this?! Am I dreaming? I should be. This can't be possible. I walked closer to the mirror and took a better look.

I slowly walked to the entrance of the ice rink and peeked inside. Jay was still busy trying to balance himself while Sunoo was sitting on the ice with a hopeless expression plastered on his face. Sunghoon and Heeseung were probably competing against each other. I looked around for Jake when he skated to my side and tilted his head cutely. “Where did you disappear to?” “In the restroom. What's with Sunoo?” “He gave up on Jay. But you know Jay doesn't give up easily.” He chuckled as he looked at the struggling lad in a distance. “Are you coming in again?” He asked as he turned his head back at me. “I don't know, I feel pretty weird.” I formed my lips into a thin line. “Did you get dizzy from Sunghoon's continuous moves with you earlier?” “Probably. Are the girls bored?” “I don't know. No one dared to walk up to them to ask what's up.” I sighed. “I'll go to them. Make sure Jay doesn't hurt himself.” He simply nodded.

“That handsome senior followed you behind, what happened?” “Huh? He did?” “You didn't know? Oh my gosh, this is big.” “How is it big?” The other nudged me with her elbow. “She means that a senior has a thing for you.” “Yeah, as expected from her. Maybe he just wanted to make sure everything was okay with me because my brother told him to keep me away from any stupid accident.” I rummaged through my coat pockets as I spoke. They continued to doubt my words and speak about how gorgeous he is while I took out my phone to ring Youngbin. I needed to know if he knew anything was up with Lee Heeseung.

“What's up?” “What is up with Heeseung?” “What do you mean, all of a sudden?” “He's acting pretty weird. Does he have a secret or something?” “Uh, I don't think so but who knows, everyone has secrets.” I gulped at his words. “Does he have any talent? Or special abilities?” “That's out of the blue but sure yeah, he's pretty talented when it comes to...everything.” He laughed through the line while I kept a straight face. “Okay, you're no help. I'm hanging up.” “Continue having fun!” “Yeah yeah.” I slid my phone in my pockets and left the coat in its same place. “Was that your brother?” A voice rang out from my back and I turned around in surprise to see Heeseung. “Yes?” He locked his eyes with mine as if he was telling me that I was in deep trouble if I ever told or even hint someone about what had happened earlier.

He blinked and looked away before walking to his spot. I looked at the other side to see the rest of the boys getting ready to leave the rink. “Did you have fun?” I turned to the girls as I asked them. They nodded with satisfied smiles visible on their faces. “Can't wait for you to tell everyone about your relationship with Sunghoon.” She winked and I gave her a disgusted expression in return. I dropped my attitude as soon as I remembered Heeseung's words back in the restroom. He mentioned something about Sunghoon wanting his best friend and crush to be happy no matter what. Sunghoon won't have a crush on me, will he? Maybe it's just Jake...but how did he know about my secret with Jake? I turned to the boys once again and looked straight at Sunghoon who had a cheerful smile plastered on his face. “Let's grab something to eat! I'm hungry!” Sunoo exclaimed.

P O V

Sunghoon happily laughed at the scene of Jay trying to stand properly on the ice. “Keep your body straight, or else you'll always end up falling.” Sunoo mentored with an annoyed expression on his face. “Sunghoon, help me here.” “You're a lot better than me at teaching.” “Not fair! You taught Youngjae how to skate too!” He shrugged at the latter and started skating around once again. A scream echoed through the whole region. “Park Jongseong, will you keep it down?!” Sunoo yelled. Sunghoon simply smiled and stopped as he reached the corner of the rink. He noticed Heeseung coming out from the restroom where Youngjae had entered and sensed something was up. I slowly slid to the entrance to catch up with the older boy. “How is she?” He asked, making Heeseung look at him in surprise. He slightly smirked. “She's okay.” He answered as he got into the rink. Sunghoon watched his every move. “You're not up to anything, are you?” “Uhm, no? Why do you ask?” “Nothing. So, you think you're good enough?” He spoke as he glanced at the latter's feet. “Are you challenging me?” “We can let Jake judge.” “He's your best friend, no.” “He'll be fair, don't worry.” Heeseung released a chuckle. “Okay then.”
