(Y/N POV)
Reluctantly opening my eyes my fears about the position we're in are proven correct by the sight that unfolds before me, Bellamy laying on his back while I straddle his waist with my legs partially wrapped around him. My gaze begins to have a mind of its own because it starts to trail down his body, stopping in his shirtless torso. This view definitely didn't help the butterflies that were starting to develop in my stomach. Just when I thought life at this moment couldn't get any worse a sly grin seemed to form on his lips signaling he either found this extremely funny or was enjoying it, who's to say it wasn't both. Coming to the realization I'm staring at his abs and am still positioned on his lap I swiftly jump off, and go to speed away but not before "accidentally" stepping on one of his fingers."Oops." I innocently call out to him as I'm exiting the ring. I exit the arena, not letting Lexa know since the second she remembers what happened this morning she'll make it her lives mission to pry it out of me, and after the fun little situation I just got into with Bellamy I'd rather not speak to anyone. All I want to do right now is full on scream into a pillow.
As I walk down the halls in the direction of my room my mind can't help but wonder the to thought of Bellamy, why I do not know but what I do know is I have to do something to make it stop. Thinking about what I could do to distract my mind and pass time until River and I hang out I come up with the perfect idea to go explore the town. Since I've gotten here I haven't had the time nor the energy so now would be the perfect time to do so. Racing to my room with the new found excitement I make I list in my head of what I need to grab from my room. Entering my room I start rapidly searching for some kind of bag that's big enough to hold quite a few items. After finding a suitable bag I began searching around for the money Lexa gave me along with the small bag of berries I might of, sort of "borrowed" from the kitchen. Stuffing the items in the bag I make my way out of my room and towards the closet exit. Sadly the closest exit wasn't so close, since my room was at the very top of the tower I would be spending quite a lot of time walking down stairs. The other option would be taking the elevator but there's so way in hell I'm trusting that rickety thing.
While jogging down the what felt like 100 flights of stairs I tripped at least 8 times, each time almost resulting in me tumbling down the stairs. But me being me I didn't slow down unless it was to take a quick breather, and when I say quick what I mean is that I sit down for 10 minutes and think about if I could survive on these stairs because in that moment getting up and jogging down more stairs didn't sound to fun. When I finally reached the bottom I make the decision right then and there to next time take the risk with the elevator. Even though the haul down the stairs has me a bit exhausted I still manage to speed walk towards the exit before anyone has the chance to stop and ask me to do something. Thanks to the small amount of people roaming the halls today I make it out with no interruptions. As I step out of the tower I instantly feel the warm sun beating down onto my cloak. It would be such a shame to waste this nice of weather underneath a big cloak like mine so I hastily take it off and shove it into my bag. Bellamy isn't allowed inside the town so me and my identity will be fine. Now without my heavy cloak and hood I can now fully soak in and enjoy the suns vibrant rays.
Walking along the aged cobblestone street I pull out the berries I pack and proceed to snack on them, I didn't realize how hungry my journey down the stairs made me until I tossed the first one in my mouth. My small snack didn't last very long and also didn't fully satisfy my now hungry stomach so I slow my fast paced walk down to a slow stroll and begin to take in my surroundings in search of some sort of food stand. My eyes seem to fail me because I can't see anything but a lot people going all sorts of different way blocking any view I once had. Luckily my nose isn't as worthless as my eyes because I catch a whiff of something the smells absolutely delicious. Following the sudden scent it brings me to a stand ran by an elderly women. Not only is she selling food but by the looks of it she doing palm readings too. The stand had quite a few people already in line and my patience isn't really a fan of lines so I spin around on my heels and go to walk away but my stomach growls pulling rank over my patience, but it also pulls me back to the stand.
